Togor your logic befuddles me at time [this is easy to do in my case] but you are right up to a point. Diplomacy is IMHO giving up something that is of little value to you but not to "them". In this case returning THEIR assets was not a good idea, it is akin to putting more fuel on the fire. With the hate speech of "Death to America, destroy our foe Israel" giving them money will persuade them to use nuclear energy not as a weapon? Your dislike of things that go against National Socialism is evident, you feel this approach to live is why? Christ taught me to love my enemies, do good to them this I can do. Christ also commanded me to buy a sword and go armed into the world, this I also do. Why didn't Barry ship the Iranians the equivalent in food, medicine, non-lethal aid? Instead Barry gave them the ability to destroy and this is wrong. If somehow Mossad doesn't do their "magic" and Iran gets nuclear weapons how will this help make your children and grandchildren safer? Will you be content to state to the world and satisfy your conscious, "It was their money and Barry was right in giving it back to them!"

Sam you call me a Nazi because I point out that coming to terms with adversaries involves concessions that will inevitably be critized? That is so f*cked up I don't know where to begin.

I have confidence that you will be able to begin...you usually do. As for National Socialism are you will to accept this mantle now?

According to today's news (31 Dec), the riots have spread to 13 cities and at least two protesters have been killed. The reporter said that the protests started over economic issues but they seem to have spread to complaints about the government in general. The report also said that the government has closed down the main social media sites to stop the protesters from organizing. All the while the president of Iran was saying that Iran is a free country where it is legal to protest as long as it is non-violent. LOL

And the gov't will make sure it turns violent. The Revolutionary Guard has promised to crush dissent.
