It has to be real! Without global warming the temps here would be -70 instead of today's -37. Just saying.......8-)

The air in the eastern half of the US is coming straight south from the arctic circle. Of course it's going to be cold! But...not as cold it was 30 years ago, in my experience.

I remember hunting coyotes in -20 temps and 2 foot of snow! But I was only 20 something then!

I remember getting some cranky big block V8 engines to turn over at -20F, and people going out at lunch hour to start their car! We just lived in it. These days if it hits -10F the TV people go batsh*t crazy with the alarms. And real men don't factor wind chill either!

Every time we get a cold snap here in Missouri like in recent days, I recall the two winters I survived in Fairbanks. Doesn't seem so bad then.
