Ha Ha the dems eat crow again

You won't hear about this on the news.

A Democrat-backed study meant to expose illicit online gun sales instead seemed to show the opposite -- with hardly any sellers taking the bait when undercover investigators tried to set up dozens of illegal firearm transactions.

Now to spin it like the dems- "Thanks to out efforts, numerous weapons illegally sold over the internet were kept our of the hands of individuals who were intent on carrying out more Las Vegas style attacks. So we saved hundreds, if not thousands of lives and prevented the wounding of tens of thousands more! We are proud to have prevented such a painful national tragedy and this proves that our efforts to take these guns away from mass murderers are justified."

Now in English- "We tried to buy about a hundred guns on the internet. None of the sellers on the "normal" internet would do it. Only 2 on the "dark web" did. We were wrong about this issue, but will never admit it."
I dream of a better world. One where chickens may cross the road without their motives being questioned.

The dem politicians behind this have never, and never will be, embarrassed by their own lies and spurious attempts to deceive. Regards, Clark

And just what is the 'dark web'? The buys there did not reveal they were not allowed to own guns. So just what did the 'entrapment buyers' reveal? Were they shipped legal, to an FFL? And why would an illegal person reveal he is not allowed? Not enough info in this report and a very small sample. Altho I do agree that few illegal sales are sold as sellers tend to be very overly cautious. If I were anti gun my points above would be how I would attack this "study". And why did it take two years to do less then a hundred attemps?
