Be nice. We know that when the POTUS is out of the nest, the costs go up. We also know how many times he has been to his clubs. These numbers are known. We can project them forward and say that Trump will run up a pretty big tab.

Do we really need to bring forward Trumps critical tweets of Obama's golfing, and compare that to the status on the number of times the Donald has hit the course since becoming POTUS? Or is the problem here that I'm not willingly going along with the double standard, that says that Trump can be a complete buffoon, but even so would be light years ahead of 44?

At some level, who gives a crap what any of these things costs. Compared to 1,000 other expenses, they're small change. But this is what Fox is into these days so I get it. Like the article yesterday about all of the expensive gifts given by foreigners to the Obama administration (the headline), with the fine print saying "and yeah they donated them to the National Archives like the rules say". To any thinking person these stories should be a dead end. But well, lots of suckers out there.

Yes there is a projection to out years, and a nice chart for the weeks elapsed so far. By any measure DJT hitting the links at a higher clip than BHO, a man he once criticized for playing too much golf. It's because of facts like this that I can't take seriously the claims that Obama burned through too much cash in the office in comparison to the guy who followed him in the job. How about accomplishments vs. cost then. Under Barry we were forced to buy something most did not want, more people being put on food stamps then work rolls, inviting illegals to come here and get welfare at taxpayers expense, our nation going deeper in debt, XO knowing Congress and the American People would not go along, cash for clunkers fiasco that took good low cost vehicles out of the market by destruction hence low income could not purchase, further separation of the races, decreased upward mobility for the black race, giving Iran $ to continue to fund their nuclear program and terrorism, illegally running guns to Mexican cartels and then the death of a U.S. Border Patrol Officer, personally with my family I went from full time to part time due to the Obama Care program and >cost to the company. Under Trump a better tax plan, < taxes for our family, my wife and daughter getting bonus due to the tax plan, > removal of illegals and start to positive immigration policies for our country, more consumer confidence that life is getting better. Personally for our family, under Barry my wife and daughters hours were cut in January due to <sales after Christmas. This year >consumer confidence locally and wife and daughter working full 40 hour shifts. Our family's disposable income >, tax burden <! Oh I get it. People who like Trump figure that his golf game is money well spent. And same for people who like Obama with his trips to Hawaii. And even Trump's criticism of Obama's golf habits is excusable by his supporters on the logic that he didn't know he would be POTUS when he said it. The thing is, he's still saying stupid things as POTUS now. So it boils down to "yes he says stupid stuff but he's OUR GUY SAYING STUPID STUFF." As long as the good times roll that is probably good enough. My question with Trump is the same as ever, how will he be when a SHTF scenario is in his lap?

no, its about taking everything into account. everytime a president sets foot outside the whitehouse grounds it costs money, but if your going to complain about 1, you have to look at the others fairly instead of with just a jaded view that only supports your crying. the fact you just changed your argument form his expenses to "our guy saying stupid stuff" says volumes about your biased view point. anybody remember reagan and how many trips he took to camp david, seems like it was about every week for 8 years, but it was never a point, how many trips did clinton take, never heard a liberal cry about a dollar there either. we sure as hell never heard a liberal say 1 damned word about the very regular trips obamma took to hawaii and elsewhere either. why is it now that this suddenly matters? it is truly too bad the bleeding heart liberals only take their blinders off when its convenient.

The reason I brought Trump into this was to help you make your point, that any POTUS has a burn rate on travel. There are lots of people ready to bleat about how much it cost to move 44 around.
