Has Trump ever denied saying anything which has been proven he did say?

Durbin claims he said XYZ. Others at the meeting say they did not hear that. Trump says he used "strong language" but denies saying what Durbin claims. Durbin is proven to have made up stuff in the past. So, is Durbin setting up a 'false flag' to get the troops up in arms (distract from the tax reform) or is Trump saying "sure we can talk about DACA except you guys walked out because I upset you". ???

Durbin is a proven prevaricator. No reason to suppose that he would now all of a sudden tell the strict truth. Keep in mind, I try to think the best about everyone. But in this case, past dishonesty makes it difficult to consider that Durbin is telling the honest truth. Sincerely. bruce.

The surprise, to the extent there is one, isn't that citizen Trump said it, but that people somehow imagined that the job would change the man. That's my point, Togor. When Trump says something Trump-worthy has he denied it? The media is playing this to the hilt, trying to create an int'l incident out of it. They have said one word about nobody else at the meeting hearing him say that. I hope he was kidding about not recording the meeting. I'd record anything Durbin was at.

Sometimes he goes back. Right now he's arguing with Murdoch's WSJ over whether he said "I" or"I'd" in an interview. So as a shoot-first kind of guy he goes back some fraction of the time to argue which bottle he was aiming at.

well Dave.... frankly the 70% figure sounds like when trump told us unemployment was up to 20% ....

However.... if it were true.... and they weren't all incarcerated in the past 10 months or so ... that would mean Obama was doing a hell of a job since his deportation rate was pretty high as well .

Bringing it back to the OP, I will say that any time I hear Trump say "believe me", and he says it quite a bit, my instinct is that he is trying to get one over on somebody. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who thinks that (even if I may be among the very few who would admit it).

It was the left that started this Rapists & murderers thing. If you remember, The left was saying that the people coming across the border needed safe houses because the coyotes bringing them across were raping and sometimes murdering the women and children. It was the UN report of level of developed people across the world that Trump was getting his information from about who we should be letting into this country. Norway was #1, El Salvador was last. All of Africa was near the bottom. Haiti was just above Africa in the ratings.
