Is the Judge grasping at straws ? ...

Does he have the authority to prevent DACA from expiring ?
    State Dept says not.
So do I, but, like I've said many times; what do I know ?

A federal judge in San Francisco ruled that the government failed to account for the impact ending DACA would have on current participants and their families.

Right. And they decide things the way they think the law should be,
      not the way it is.

        I have to ask,
How can an illegal executive order be upheld by anyone ?
O'numbnuts even said he didn't have the authority to do it.

Liberal judges evidently read that they have the power to legislate from the bench.

As they are appointed for life, and cannot be disqualified from serving no matter how many times their rulings are overturned (which may take years to accomplish), they do, in effect, have that power. Such abuse of judicial power was never anticipated by the framers of the Constitution, so the system needs to be changed; fat chance of that, considering that most of these rogue judges were appointed by Dems.

I just read that President Trump has filed an appeal on this decision to the Supreme Court.
