Should the state split in two, one "normal" the other as it is?

Been trying for many years - the northern counties (where I live) want to form the State of Jefferson. At times, off and on, parts of southernmost Oregon were included in the movement, but I believe they have now dropped out.

It will NEVER happen - too many votes in the southland. Frankly, I hope the dims running the state eventually fry in hell, and don't care what sanctions the Feds impose. BTW, word is out this AM that federal laws are still active, and that whether Moonbeam and his henchmen cooperate or not, will still be enforced with vigor. ICE and DHS staffs are to be enlarged. If CA raises taxes because of its' troubles with sanctions, MAYBE it will return the State to at least a neutral social position, if not sweep the dims out of office, rather than have the heavily gerrymandered morass we have today.

Split can't happen without approval of the legislature. Seeing as it's mostly Democrats.......no chance of that happening. Of course those idiots could conceivably spend the state into so big a financial hole, selling off part might be a viable option for them. The eastern counties come up with their "portion" of the debt, the liberal coastal enclaves let them go.

Funny thing. The eastern counties control ALL the access to water. Heh-heh. Eastern counties: "You want water? Rates just went up! Seems we had a 'debt' we had to pay off."

No, I'd be in the good part, but a border county.

I think it should be split down the middle. The beach and Hollywood part goes into the ocean when the fault pulls away.
