As for what I wrote, what was astounding that Togor took it literally instead of a parable. Throw out a college kid? No one is "throwing out", simply stating the law and asking the "kid" to return to their country of origin rather then continue their criminal activity. These pesky immigration law are there for a reason with the expectation of enforcement. Personally I do not see Congress pass any laws for their relief and Barry made it easier for these people to be picked up for deportation. Congress passes laws that need to be enforced, it is as simple as this. I break the law twenty years ago with no statue of limitations and get caught. Would you allow the person to walk scot free? If so, why pass any laws in this Republic? As for the First Lady, if she did something wrong should she be treated any different?

    OK..back to another thread....

since Melania lied in order receive her visa.... lets all admit... being granted one visa to look for work does not legally allow one to work...but she did means what?.... she broke the law

Now , one of the items that helps obtain the second visa she aquired was ... advanced education... which she claimed to have in order to obtain that visa. As she quit that college in her freshman year I would have to say that claim was a lie... wouldn't you?. The White House web site explained it as a "pause in her studies" .... and we all accept it even though 20 years is a hell of a pause.

you ask.... "As for the First Lady, if she did something wrong should she be treated any different ? "

well thats exactly the point... and the answer is no .... but you can bet she "has" been treated differently...... but somehow I just know you'll defend that fact.

If we think the daca kid should man up and leave... then I think she should as well.... don't you?

... of course not... a flat back is worth a hundred wet backs anytime.... right?

As I stated before NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW or the law is no good. "What is is?" What is the definition of advanced education by government standards? Being treated differently is wrong except under different "circumstances" and I doubt that she could qualify. Any differences that you and I have is a mute point due to the fact "we" meaning you and I have no jurisdiction on the immigration matter. I am glad for you and yours that the "situation" was takin care of to your benefit. Matter of fact I have to admire her tenacity in getting what she wanted. As to the DREAMERS, personally I see the need to take each application on a case by case basis to continue staying here. I want those who exploited these people to be prosecuted, it is wrong to take advantage of people in their situation for financial gain. Illegal immigration/dealing in contraband has to be stopped. Why not put our military on the border with live ammo and the ability to use any and all means of smuggling arrests.

OK... a little agreement here.... how about you sign a petition that says melania go back to her own country and " do it right "... like my wife had to do ?? didn't think you would .

You want those who exploited those people prosecuted ? .... that a pretty long list that includes the likes of equal wealth of trump... meaning that ain't never gonna happen untill all realise that the true government here is not Democrat or republican.

Don't like socialist welfare ? can't stand that maybe a welfare momma with 2 kids managed to buy a pack of cigarettes with her food stamps ? .... then why no complaints of the Fanjul brothers right here in Florida .... multi billion dollar company that receives subsidies from the US Government {your tax dollars as well} in order that we can cripple the Cuban sugar industry...

Funny... paying two billioniare Cubans money so they can sell sugar cheap enough to fu#k over the poor Cubans..... just so we can show the world what a disaster it is down there.... and the Fanjuls.... being typical of true wealth... vote regularly , and equally.... for both parties.

and thanks for the mention of my wifes tenacity.... one day I'll tell ya the whole story...

and then if you'd open the mind a wee bit... you'd understand why I thought she was exactly what this country needed .

If we told the two billionaire Cubans to F off maybe the people in Cuba would have enough money to want to stay home.... cause frankly those wealthy Fanjul bros. don't hire an abundence of Americans

Have no idea who the Fanjul brothers are, can you supplement, please. As to Mrs. Trump you and I both know that the powers that be won't for obvious reasons. Does she have a "green" card? To be frank, the last 30 years this "Presidential" thing has gone crazy but it is what it is. A first lady who is foreign, a President who's ancestry could be doubtful, a Presidential family who's "friends" suicide themselves with regulatory, another who used the military to protect his father...the list goes on and on. I had many on food stamps who used them as they should be and yet, had problems living. I did what I could within clinic rules such as bring them to the clinic to wash their clothes and take a hot shower. If they were under stress I put them into our step down unit from the psych hospital so they could relax without strain, have 3 squares and just regroup to go back out into the world. The step down was a homey place set in a country scene. If a Mexican wants to work in the United States and cause no problem I see no reason not to. If they create mischief show them the door asap. The temporaries are under another program with the presumption of returning to the country, not start a life here.
