"Oh, what a tangled web Banon's woven ...

His exaggerations and outright lies have attracted
the attention of the Grand Inquisitor.
So, will he lie about telling lies or will he come clean
and admit he made the whole thing up or at least
added some flowery adjectives to the story just to get
    back at Trump ?
    The man's a Mountebank.

Question: Was Bannon SOBER when he was talking to Wolff? Was Wolff?

Wolff, certainly not, as he was on a mission. But knowing him to be a dedicated left-winger, in search only of something damaging to Trump, why in God's name would smart-guy Bannon have given him 2 seconds of his time? He'd commit suicide if he had any sense of honor.

Wolff himself has already answered CH's question. Factionalism in the White House then, people eager to push unflattering narratives about rivals. Meanwhile Trump sits above it all. BTW this management technique has been a favorite of despotic types for a long time.

Whataboutism is not a valid defense.

I thought Trump was better? Clearly he's as bad...

Whataboutism. Very good term to describe the previous administration. Whataboutism. Apt. Very apt indeed!

Now as to thinking ... it's hard. One looks at the previous administration ... its record of excess and excuse all in the name of advancing the demokrat left-wing liberal social/political agenda ... its appointing of poor quality left-wing liberal hacks to the federal judicary and SC, all that makes it difficult to look at the current administration with any sense of balance. The many multiple faults of the previous administration simply primes the left to seek to find anything at all in the Trump administration about which it can bloviate. Yes, thinking is hard work. One has to ... think! So many spent so long trying not to think about the previous administration or for that matter trying not to think about the candidate the demokrats picked via backroom monkey business to run for president ... they've gotten good at not thinking. They just repeat what they are told. Now, they realize something was wrong for the last eight year administration, something was wrong with their most recent failed presidential candidate ... and they are trying to think. But, they are so used to only parroting what they are told. Thinking is hard. Maybe they'll begin to manage it. But, first, they'll have to do the hard work of actually thinking about why their demokrat party is currently in the shape it's in at the local and state level. They'll need to do some real thinking about who are the leaders in their party that are responsible for the shape they are in. They'll have to think about why they should continue to listen to such failed leaders. Then they can move on to thinking about more important things. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.
