Coming to the Wire on Shutdown (not that anyone cares)

Now if SS and Medicare payments were locked up in a shutdown, that would be a different story!

I just hope that the un-elected producers at Fox News continue to take their obligation to the nation seriously.

Can we blame the party in charge like we did in 2013?

The 'band aid' has already passed the House. Now the Senate will screw us based upon what was said in an interview? Combine the Dems with the RINO's and they have enough to blame the Pres. Pass the friggin' 30 day bill and work on a more permanent one fer chrissakes!

Repubs ought to make the case--if they had the brains--that the problem is entirely the result of Dems pandering, as usual, to special interests: the illegals of course. TV ads should already be running, saying "Dems are willing to put demands of a handful of non-citizens above the whole country."

Schumer will agree as long as Trump allows in another
            100,000,000 illegals.

Finger pointing hardly improves the situation.

No, but it identifies those responsible for the real hold-up.

What's the party line? That Dems are holding the budget approval hostage to the political gains they expect to make by promoting the rights & privileges of non-citizens? (Esp. non-whites.) You deny that?

Yeah but they would point out that this is I think the third CR, and that they thought they had a deal with Trump months ago. Old photographer's trick to cut away the bits of the picture that tell a different story. Myself I don't really care. Stupid cable news crap to me. But no way is this a one-sided fiasco.

correct, its both parties, how many times did this happen during the last occupants reign. its the congress that is at fault, the president cant do a dang thing until both the house and senate pass a bill.

The two party system is “broken.” Ah... so we need to have a one party system???

Wow! That would solve everything and we could join the other “one party,” nations. Venezuela, No. Korea, Argentina, Cuba, Haiti, etc.

Or maybe we could get to be like Greece, Italy, Brazil, Portugal, etc.

The U.S. and our two party system has become the greatest nation in the world and you say our system is broken???
