But then the liberals got control of it.
Now look at it. The unfortunate residents have had to
resort to looting in order to survive.

Like Russia under Stalin and some who followed him. Russia has at least let some, a lot, of free enterprise into their system.

It is axiomatic that modern Conservatives are descended from the Classical Liberals -- who believed in freedom, free speech, minimal governmental interference and so on.

Modern Liberals are descended from the Progressives (who ought to be called Regressives) who believe the government should run everything.

Ya know Boggs... where I live half the homes in the county were being foreclosed on.... there wasn't a job to be found any where for any wage. The newly rebuilt airport was being shut down and the county... and other surrounding counties... were laying off firemen and EMTs. Unemployed people were offering to cut lawns for $15... and getting few takers from the hordes that didn't have $15.

and as our friend Red would say " News Flash ".... that all happened just before "Barry" took office ..... thats right... it happened just before the end of GWs era... ya know... the guy you voted for right?

That's a common issue here, as there is no way to enforce against it, but some guys have a habit of at least trying to read what the other guy says.
