so.... when do we take offense at breaking immigration law... or not ?

So ... in light of the numerous discussions on the topic when do we really take offense at illegal immigrants breaking our laws ?

Lets have a look at the First Lady... shall we?

heres something from the recent past that seems to get washed over by the news... fake or otherwise ... from AP

The wife of the GOP presidential nominee, who sometimes worked as a model under just her first name, has said through an attorney that she first came to the U.S. from Slovenia on Aug. 27, 1996, on a B1/B2 visitor visa and then obtained an H-1B work visa on Oct. 18, 1996.

The documents obtained by the AP show she was paid for 10 modeling assignments between Sept. 10 and Oct. 15, during a time when her visa allowed her generally to be in the U.S. and look for work but not perform paid work in the country. The documents examined by the AP indicate that the modeling assignments would have been outside the bounds of her visa.

Arrived in the country on a visitors visa and received a work visa within two months .... even though she lied about not working in the US. And even though she lied about her colledge education....

But all you hardcore immigration law abiders are OK with that ... right? At least she wasn't a Spic... right ?

You'll jump i here now and tell me she did it legally ... right ? law is law... even if you have to buy it... law is good.

I'm OK with that but not because "she wasn't a Spic." I'm OK because she was clearly someone who wouldn't be living on the dole or causing problems for society, and didn't espouse beliefs that were contrary to our culture--such as ragheadism.

CH, I respect you because you don't duck your beliefs. So many guys here do but you don't. That said, and if you don't mind my asking, what's eating you with the gays? If they mind their own business and you mind yours, isn't that enough?

Got to thinking. If you look at some of the immigration laws to become a citizen of some other desirable country such as Britain, Norway, France, Italy, et al, it does not seem so easy. Yet to come to the United States and become a citizen it seems many people think it should be a 30 minute process. Why is that? Years ago we had Ellis Island that seemed to process immigrants in a fair and orderly fashion. Now immigration is a soup sandwich.

With regard to the homosexuals, I will state that like most Americans my life has been untouched by the AIDS plague-it is an STD, NOT an equal opportunity affliction, and those who contract it because they engaged in "high risk" behaviors-i.e indecent and immoral-and disgusting-deserve neither sympathy nor understanding. The whole purpose for recognizing same-sex "marriages" is to obtain either employer or government provided benefits-AIDS made those medical benefits mighty important. In the hetero sexual circles I travel the pedophile is considered the lowest of the low, the scum of the earth, in the homosexual milieu-he's a Member in Good Standing. NAMBLA-when was the last time you heard of NAMGLA ?
The military ?-they've been working on the Coed Military for over 40 years, they can't get THAT and you're going to introduce another group that doesn't adhere to norms and standards ? There is no same-sex sexual harassment ? If Pvt. Jones tells a homosexual superior "No!" that ends it, right ? Current DoD regulations forbid the overseas deployment of those who test HV-positive, so Sam Straight goes in their place. That does wonders for morale, right ?

According to those I’ve talked to it became a money game. Pay the coyotes or pay the immigration lawyers, or pay the government.

"Gay Pride" parades, or FORCING their way (by threats of violent disruption) into other parades & public events like the famous St.Patrick's Day parade in NYC, is minding their own business??? Or staged propaganda events, like all the photos of homos kissing on the courthouse steps? Or disrupting school board meetings if homo agendas aren't worked into the curriculum? And countless other ways of forcing spineless public officials & organizations to pander to their agenda? Which is (how many times does it have to be said?), that the public must accept their "deformity" as normal human behavior.

Actually, I can remember a time when they did seem to mind their own business, and it was as recently as the early '70s, when I lived in "San Fran East," Houston; don't even think I'd ever heard of "Gay Pride" at the time! (By the way, ever heard of "Hetero Pride"?) And that wasn't because I never came in contact with them--they owned most of the antique shops in the city, and at that time I never came within a mile of any antique store with going in. I was even on fairly friendly terms with the proprietors of the shops I liked best. Point is, I wasn't a born homo-hater, even though, I'm a made one now.

Homos always say they were "born that way" and can't help it, which I'm sure is true. Well, who would choose to be a pedophile? Aren't they "born that way" too? So where's the logic in "gay pride," but not "pedophile pride"?

Both, like a hair-lip or club-foot any other obvious physical deformity, are genetic abnormalities--something "gone wrong" in their DNA.

OK, asked and answered. I guess the strategy is to normalize PDAs (public displays of affection) like a kiss to where it's considered normal. A person is either going to agree with that or not. I won't lie and say that it doesn't look odd to me to see two guys kissing, but personally I've decided it's not a topic over which it is worth wasting energy. So far as I can tell no one has tried to convert any my kids to the gay lifestyle either, and their generation seems to take it with a big "meh".

If they've suffered the indoctrination of a public school education, how else could they be expected to take it? Not the Demo Party, not the ACLU, or any other organization, is more hard-core left-wing than the teacher's unions.

Then there is the targeting of Christian-owned businesses by homosexual activists. In San Antonio the lesbian mayor tried to subpoena sermons by ministers who spoke out against homosexuality. A few years ago during an insomniac period I was listened to the BBC World Service on WHYY-FM. It seemed that 75% of every hour leading up to Worlds Aids Day on December 1 dealt with that topic. The Big Day came, they started reading the listeners messages. The first said that people would never know listening to their program that AIDS is a sexually transmitted disease and they admitted that most of the listeners' responses said the same thing.

As usual... here at Culvers... we show our attention to detail..... mention Melania lying in order to get her work visa and within four postings we're discussing homosexuality....

... no wonder we are so easily persuaded... and easily led

Merely a reflection of the pervasive influence in this country of homos & their program to turn American values upside down. A few yrs from now, how will Melania's "terrible" offense stack up against the consequences of overturning the 5000 yr old definition of marriage?
