    Thank God for Democrats!

I, for one, am glad our Democratic Overlords in Sacramento are looking out for us!

"Three years after California banned single-use plastic bags, a state lawmaker is attempting to make plastic straws the next taboo item. Assemblyman Ian Calderon, D-Whittier (Los Angeles County), introduced a bill this month that would require servers at sit-down restaurants to ask customers if they want a straw before providing one. "

In the meantime, vehicle burglaries in San Francisco are up (again) city-wide by 26%! In the Mission District, it's up 86%! The crime is so pervasive that Dispatchers no longer send a unit to investigate or collect any evidence. Callers are directed to an on-line portal to make out their own report.
At the same time, the rate of arrests for auto break-ins has dropped since last year from just below 2 percent to 1.6 percent.

San Francisco, another "Democratic Worker's Paradise"!

Oh! And when you enter that 5 Star restaurant for a meal, please take the time to clean the human feces off the bottom of your shoe first!

That's a stupid thing to say.
And please change your picture - it's frightening.

Are you trying to say people are breaking into vehicles to steal single use plastic bags ?

Must be an incredible need for something to put that "weed" in .....

Wouldn't the bags be classified as "medical supplies?"

My wife and I were in SF last October. We spent a couple of days there and we were on a cruise ship. The better half wanted to go shopping so we grabbed a cab and went uptown. Neat old Street Cars must be out of the 40's. I hate shopping so I always sit outside and watch life go on around me. I was surprised to see how many bums were right downtown, must be a high rent district but there was 1 mad man wandering around screaming his head off, multiple bums laying against the building sitting, sleeping on the sidewalk. One walked over to the road and took a big puke right there.

                Cities suck.

It's like the movie "Field of Dreams" "Build it and they will come" Or in the case of bums: "Provide lots of services for them and they will use them" Some people never learn.

If you want more of something, subsidize it.

I disagree. It is not "cities" that suck. It is the dogooder, crybaby, ass wipes that run them... A situation that is about to change.

There is a storm brewing in the USA that will spread to Canada and beyond. The people that work and support a family are fed up because they are not only supporting their family, they are supporting 3 more families that won't work.

All "welfare" in America is a scam. All it does is buys votes for corrupt politicians. Dogooders wail about children starving (here in the USA)... In the past 40 years, not 1 kid starved to death in the USA because nutrition was unavailable. Parental neglect, does not count.

Trump is in Davos. He was supposed to be dissed... Instead he received nothing but praise. Obamamama never even bothered to attend a single Davos meeting. Trump is there and even the MSM is impressed by the fact that countless people there are thanking him for leading a worldwide economic boom.

I recall one of our Canadian members saying that "up there" the so-called "distressed" families always have money for beer and weed while the kids have to be enrolled in school nutrition programs. Down here schools are always catching kids trying to sneak food out of the school.
A retired New Jersey judge who had a welfare queen before him as a plaintiff told her she was using her kids as "meal tickets", and any discussion of welfare should be preceded by watching the video "Swipe Yo' EBT!"
LBJ is quoted as saying "Give me these programs and I'll have those n------ voting Democrat for 200 years!"
