What can the President say except what is obvious. Stock market up over 5,000 points in 12 months, increased consumer confidence which spurs sales, which boosts the economy. Many companies are reinvesting in our nation, this past shopping season the best in many years. Personally in our family is increased disposable income...a real tangible. Under Barry was stagnant economy, increased people on welfare, dubious assistance to the economy such as cash for clunkers and no forth. There is a lot about the President that many find detestable in his personal life. He was hired with the promise of getting the economy rolling, that he has done. With the recent "Schumer's Shutdown" there will be problems with those who followed him, such as Sen. Manchin of WV. IMHO the only way I see him getting reelected is by switching political parties otherwise his goose is cooked as WV has switched camps from the Democratic side to the Republican.

As far as the State of the Union speech the democrats are never short on words and BS. It will be a perfect opportunity while people are watching to come up with some more fake news or make personal attacks. In regard to all that has happened in the past there should be "gag orders" on all of them but they will have their "say" and it will be something stupid as always.

More then likely they will tout their accomplishments on helping the poor, social justice [what is that?], reducing poverty, making the rich pay their share. Glittering generalties and nothing more. How they were denied their right to power as Hillary is the rightful president. Bring out "another" Kennedy to give the party line. I am sick to death of hearing about the Kennedy's and their accomplishment, but that's another story. @ least Barry doesn't have his kisser on the tube yet with the great things he and his administration did.
