    We're busily going nowhere ...

and certainly not in a hurry.
I, like everyone else here, well, except the 3 stooges, have
been waiting with baited breath for someone in the FBI or
the Justice Dept or Hillary herself to be seated at the
interrogation table facing the bright lights being asked
some pertinent questions about - choose a subject:
fake dossier, destruction of e-mails, broadcast of classified
documents into the ether for secret agents like Boris and
Natasha to read. So, I'm wondering if anyone of the numerous
corrupt officials will ever face justice. It's been way more than a
year now and we're not much further ahead than when it all
started, So, If nobody is to be held responsible, then what exactly
will have been the point of all the House, Senate and Inspector
General inquiries ? Jeff Sessions is either asleep or dead, and
without him nothing goes forward. Draining the Swamp must
be a lot more difficult than it would seem, especially when the
    Attorney General appears incompetent.

The problem with elected Federal politicians is they seem to be voted in for life. There should be a maximum of two years service. They are too rich. No millionaires allowed. Salary should be 5 figures top. Pelosi and Fienstein should be deported.

Term limits and family limits. Maybe Trump will address the term limits at least.

As far as deportations I can think of plenty more that need to go but who in their right mind would accept them? Perhaps this would be some way we could get some benefit from Puerto Rico.

Well, why don't you come up with a name ?
As for the 3 Stooges, only kids under the age of 5 could appreciate their humor.
And I wonder how many of them have eye damage.

Come on Tom, Would you rather have someone represent you in Washington DC that had lived his life on welfare and never held a steady job, or someone that ran a business, paid a major amount in taxes, hired employees, and met a payroll? Today many (if not most) farmers are millionaires. My own sister never went to college and worked 38 years for a large corporation, then retired with a net worth of over $1 million. My best high school running buddy and his wife were teachers for 40 years and claimed to have been under paid. Their retirement income combined is now over $150k and their net worth is over $1 million.

ADDED: In the USA the average farm is over 400 acres and the average price for farmland is over $4,000/acre. Therefore the average farm is worth over $1.6 million...

That's the saddest part of the national conversation.

                Right adulation and Left over-reaction.

More akin to a very bright light, essential for exposing the villains.

The left has lived in the dark for so long that light scares them, they prefer to continue to stumble and fall over. In the dark one holds onto the one in front hoping that the one in front knows where the line is going. Those on the right walk in the light, preferring to go our own pathway and not following others. "The Wise Man goes to the right, the Foolish to the left." That was true many eons ago and still holds water today.

So Boggs endorses right wing dictatorships! Of course he does. Ethnic cleansing too.

That poem refers to handed-ness, and the old superstition that left-handed people are sinister. Or does our self-reported trained Freudian really believe that left-handed people bear the mark of the devil?

We will never have term limits, because Congress would have to pass it. The idea has been floated several times in the past, never got to first base!

No, they will not. Remember, this is the same FBI that killed 70+ people at Waco, and no one got so much as a slap on the wrist.

                              Sinister - Latin for Left.

                              Gauche - French for Left.

Rectus (from which we get rectitude) - Latin for right.

Are we seeing a trend here?

                              Come on, togor, lighten up.

Besides, I was taught (and it could have been wrong), that the "Left Wing"/"Right Wing" came from the French Parliament, about the time just before and after the French revolution. the Aristocrats (Second Estate) sat on the right; the Commons (Third Estate) sat on the left. Don't know where the Clergy (First Estate) sat - but they were there.

Of course, I was also taught that, as the successive waves of "right wing" people were beheaded, the ones on the left moved over and the more radical sat on the left. And so on. I don't know if that is right, but it brings up an amusing (now a days) picture: everyone shifting over each week or two. Of course, the more right you got, the more nervous you'd be....
