What IS the obsession with Russia? We have FAR more in common with them than with China, for example, who does NOT wish us well but is far more patient, taking the long, long view. I'd like to see more and better ties with Russia - if we were closer, there might be less of the screwing around due to mutual suspicion - anyone, in their instant gratification, short-term world view - ever think of that?
