Why has Red been banned?

A while back Sys. Ed. asked for suggestions about eliminating some forums here as the program was getting too crowded. Or something like that, I am not up on computer language.
I would suggest getting rid of the political forum. This is primarily supposed to be a gun forum, but that seems to have dropped by the way side! Most gun forums do not allow political posts at all. Years ago this place was mostly about mil.surp. guns and other military stuff. It is now at a point of being disgusting!

I enjoy having a political forum, it is clearly labeled as such. When people engage in ad hominem attacks it exposes their immaturity and as Margaret Thatcher might say, shows they have no valid arguments.

Getting rid of the political forum will not get rid of the politics. Guns and politics have practically become interwoven due to the constant threats from the democrats. If you go to a gun shop and buy a gun the subject of politics will surely arise. If you talk to someone about politics the subject of guns will be a part of the conversation. Here on this gun forum where you have many expressing their views it becomes more widespread.

I wish it wasn't this way too. I wish the supreme court judges could declare once and for all that our gun rights will remain as they are. End of subject. Never to be brought up again, period. But this will never happen. Our gun rights have too many enemies.
