Well nothing is likely to change soon, we can probably agree on that. What the trends are, to be honest I don't know. Will ARs be routinely available in 30 years as they are today? My crystal ball tells me nothing.
New gun laws ?

your correct there, nothing is going to change instantly. it took years to screw this up, and its going to take years to fix it. that is if we can get enough people to see how it really is.Comment

People need to remember that Norway, with pretty strict gun laws, still holds the record for mass shooting deaths. This is not counting a couple of Muslim terrorist attacks.
I think the current problems can be traced back decades when we, the world, did not address terrorism effectively.Comment

Not only that but ammo as well! 5.56 will fly off the shelves along with .22 and any other "large" capacity magazines.

The news media/democrats want to persuade everyone that an AR15 and AK47 are machine guns like the military's use and what the public is most familiar with. They feel by doing so that these will be the easiest to ban first then they can go after the others once to door is opened.Comment

Completely agree--too many teens both unstable & unsupervised, leading secret lives their parents know nothing about. Florida killer a prime example--at home, his foster parents have been saying, he was well-behaved, though all the while planning his murder spree. Raising purchase age to 21 would not interfere with hunting & target shooting by teen, but would mean there'd have to be some adult who trusted him enough to provide weapon.Comment

depends on what state your in if an 18yr old can purchase an ar or not. regardless, the kid would have gotten one either through legal means or illegal no matter what the written laws says. doesnt matter, i saw where trump has given the order to ban bump stocks now. so he is just as stupid as the rest of em!Comment
