Money talks and BS walks. Let's try one. I shot with Carlos Hathcock in Vietnam when I was 12 years old. See I can make up stories too!

We should have been responsible caretakers of that 2nd amendment "right" . I've always been unpopular with my idea that "we" should have beat the anti gunners to the punch and taken steps to prevent what truly has now become a national catastrophe .

So... how would we have been more responsible ? tough question. One way is we could have made a little more effort in understanding the other sides fear instead of the in your face F U... that one is going to come back and bite us on the ass.

heres one I'm truly guilty of..... crying foul and denying any such thing as a gun show loop hole . I once brought a friend who was iffy about guns to a gun show and he watched me cut a deal on a gun out in the parking lot ... and again inside with non FFL who'd rented a table .

"Those men didn't know you" said my friend.....
...and he was right. I showed him how irresponsible a gun guy I was. It was convenient and those sellers and I were willing to take a chance ...and he rightfully reminds me on occasion ... I failed an opportunity to educate someone .

I'm sure this thread will now be filled with reminders of all those shootings that happened with legally purchased fire arms ..... but legally purchased or not, it won't change what's happened time and time again....

ridicule those protesting kids on the busses if you want.... but mark my words... that Constitution will see another amendment one day ...

      because we faied it
Those who would advocate against or vote against a right recognized as a God given right in the Constitution are themselves traitors. Public officials who have taken an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States are especially traitorous and should suffer the fate all traitors should suffer.
