Another straw man knocked senseless. It's never been suggested that guns would be FORCED on any teacher, only ALLOWED for those who wanted them--preferably those with military or police training; and even those would be required to demonstrate proficiency.

In fact Vern suggested that very thing, hence my tale of Mrs. Abernathy. Read his post.

And as if Providence Itself decides to weigh in on the issue, a carrying teacher, perhaps under some emotional or job-related stress, discharges his weapon today in a Georgia school. Maybe Teaching + Students + Firearms is simply too volatile a mix.

You must feel very strongly anti-gun to be making unreasoned and unthinking comments such as this, instead of your usual reasoned arguments.

What they want is to change the Constitution by fiat, something they were taught by their teachers and the last Resident was allowable and legal.

"Don't like what someone is saying, get rid of the First Amendment."

"Don't like crazies with guns, get rid of the Second Amercement.'

Now the current President wants to end Due Process (Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments).

You know this, so to make fallacious arguments is not having a discussion, or even an argument.
