Understand frustration that expectation was not met for a wholesale apocalyptic assault on the left. But, regardless of who had the job, it was and is not rational to expect that this administration will use the judicial system as a weapon by which to attack the left. Sessions stepped aside on the russia business b/c it was the right thing to do. That's the problem with men like him. They don't act according to partisan will. It makes things hard. For without doubt, the left has routinely used the judicial system/process as directed by various levels of fed. appointees to attack anyone that got in the way of their advancing their left-wing liberal political/social agenda. Perhaps for the sake of attacking the left and damaging their efforts it would have been better if a right wing partisan equal to holder or lynch had been appointed. The problem is not Session being an example of the Peter Principle but rather than he is a man of principle rather than a partisan hack ... ala holder/lynch, etc. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.
