South Africa to confiscate land ...

From guess who ? White Farmers without compensation.
It looks as though South Africa figures it knows how to
do it without causing a Zimbabwe like disaster.

So, how long before they start begging us for food imports ?

In a generation, South Africa will be a food-importing nation, and the people will be living on the ragged edge of starvation.

Previous applications of whites applying for refugee status in this country when Rhodesia became a black-terrorist state were rejected on the grounds that, in the view if the Immigration Service, there was no persecution of whites anywhere in Africa.

They boycotted ZA steel and gold and led protests to dump the DeKlerk government. Yet while it was happening they bought Jap cars made from ZA steel. They bought jewelry made from ZA gold along with African blood diamonds. Then, as soon as the headlines announced the ANC was in charge (with no experience aside from preaching Marxism) they walked away. Let it collapse in on itself. Ignored the slaughtering of whites.
They still puff their chests out and claim they won, in spite of the damage caused in their wake. That's why it's no surprise they blame everything and everyone else for the results of their failed and still failing social programs. High taxes, no jobs, high crime, urban decay, social unrest, more racism all around than ever before....
"Fill-in-the-blank rule" is the only thing they can say. It's all they can say. It doesn't say nearly enough. It certainly doesn't claim any responsibility on their part.

Not much different here in the U.S. all the time. If the state or fed government decides they want your land they take it. They offer what THEY consider fair market value. If land has been in your family for many generations or for what ever reason not for sale there is no fair market value. If a landowner rejects the offer (demand) to buy the gov can and will take it for NO compensation. Even if a settlement is made if the land is not for sale in the first place it is confiscation since you are forced to give it up.

I have seen many a farm divided by a highway or Interstate and practically destroyed for farming use. I've seen valuable property take a massive decrease in value because the gov condemned a section to use for other purposes. I've seen property condemned or bought pennies on the dollar for state parks only to see the land turned into subdivisions later.

Then there is the issue of property tax where your land that was bought with taxed dollars and often paid off completely is taxed. This tax seldom decreases and can increase to the extent that the landowner cannot afford it so more government takeover.

My father's business place at an intersection was seized for a highway expansion; he relocated, but his business never recovered. He fought it in court, but of course lost.

Still, what's happening to the white farmers--who have no where else to go, surrounded by murderous enemies--is far worse.

There's a petition on Change.org to allow them to emigrate here, but it looks like there's no way to "sign-up" without going through Facebook, which I abominate.
