The Democrat creep toward Socialism ...

Things Politic have their beginnings in California.
So they say anyway. So when you see that
someone who's way out left like Dianne Feinsten
is being challenged by someone even further out
in left field, it makes me wonder just how far out
there can the democrats go before they are forced
to admit that they're fully blown Socialists ?
It's not only Feinstein under challenge, and it's not
just in California. Think how popular Bernie Sanders
was before he had the rug pulled out from under
him by the Hillary mob. If Bernie were younger and
ran in 2020 he could offer a serious challenge in the
primaries and maybe even in the general. If Trump
were not such a success in carrying out his campaign
promises, his re-election against a Bernie challenge
could offer some trouble. All conjecture of course
because Bernie is too old, and as far as I can see, all
the other wannabes are liars crooks and charlatans.
But Socialism is the new Democrats goal it seems.

Trump is a populist. Sanders is a populist/socialist. The odd balls rolling around out in kalifornia are mostly very much extreme almost off the chart leftist ... socialist only as a political convenience to get into office, but if in office then in actual practice they will be full-blown leftists. Maybe not communist ... that sort of stuff even in kalifornia would still not likely work, but leftists for sure.

If Trump can keep his mouth shut and stick to actual business, not spout off any more foolishness about tariffs, focus on actually doing things for the economy that will help lower/middle income people ... he and the Republicans have a good opportunity in 2018. If Trump insist on playing reality politics with lots of personal drama, etc., he will gum it up good for the Republicans. Then he will have lots of problems getting anything at all worth doing done b/c he will not be able to get conservative jurists onto the federal judiciary and he will not, if the opportunity arises, have so easy a time getting a conservative on the SCOTUS as was the case with Gorsuch. Here's the important thing. When it all gets to the breakdown point,where will you go or send your children to escape the crazy. I haven't thought of it in a while, but that used to be my old saying. If you see it in CA, it will be in AZ in a year.
