Israeli F 35's Fly Over Iran

These are OUR planes (that we sold them) and a direct reflection on our capability. A lot of country's want these planes including Turkey which I feel is a big NO-NO.

With Turkey and Iran now cousins I have to agree on this.

As long as Turkey is in NATO they should be able to do everything the other NATO members can do... Do you see a scenario where Turkey would use the F-35 against us?

Actually i don't have a favorable opinion of the F-35. It can't do anything our other aircraft can't do (except VTOL). It is barely supersonic. it can't turn like a fighter, it's climb rate is less than the F-4 Phantom, it can carry bombs but not as many as the A-6 or A-10 for example. As far as fighters go the F-22 Raptor is far better... and we don't sell those to other people.

Both Russia and China have technology that overcomes much of the bennies of "Stealthy" aircraft. Why people think the F-35 is a great aircraft is beyond me. Technology is what makes it's weapons a real threat can also be adapted to other, cheaper, aircraft. I say sell them to our allies in NATO and other places and use the money to buy more F-22's.
