The way to reduce the deficit...

... is to grow the economy. As the economy grows so does the tax receipts. A worker that earns $100k+ pays more taxes than someone that makes $50k, Just since the tax cut, tax receipts and employment have reached new records. The National Socialist/Communist phonies (I call them Stooges) want to tax corporations out of business and believe getting rid of free enterprise will solve every problem.

The hole we are in is not because of the amount the Government has spent... it is all about how it was spent. Welfare, buying back junk cars, funding studies of snail darters and shovel ready jobs that don't exist doesn't promote tax revenues. Trump is well aware of this but also knows that our military is sick... most of the airplanes they are flying were designed in the 1960's. Harrier jets that were flying while I was still in the Navy are still in use. Planes that were said to be worn out after 6,000 hours flying are up to 12,000 hours and still flying. The USMC pulled 23 worn out Harriers out of Davis-Monthan and put them back in service. Trump bit the bullet and signed a bill he hated so the military could get started on the road back to being great again.

And what is propaganda about a booming economy being better for everyone. Are you saying that heavy taxation and severe Governmental regulations are preferable? Propaganda my ass! Common sense and supply and demand still work. Socialism hasn't worked anywhere it has been tried... look at Venezuela, Russia, Cuba, Argintina, and China. Mao's economy sucked, the USSR is no longer on the map, Venezuela cannot even supply toilet paper, and Cubans are still driving 1950's Capitalist built cars.

Red I should add...I respect the sense of timing that you bring to your propaganda technique.

You know that the deficit will go up later, but you declare victory for the principle now, that tax cuts = more revenue, knowing that 6 months is enough time to find some excuse for the torrent of red ink on the treasury books. Supply-siders have been doing this for years.

On Mueller, once upon a time you swore to me that there was no contact at all between the Trump campaign and the Russians. Now you trumpet the fact (pun intended) that Trump is not the target of a criminal indictment, knowing full well that as POTUS, the political remedy is the more likely path, all the while ignoring the list of exposed grifters in the campaign such as Manafort, Gates, Flynn, and the ties to Ivan.

I look forward to your forthcoming narrative on the new trade taxes, both ours and theirs.

A 100% made up lie. What I said was that I hoped Trump and his advisors were talking to Russia, France, China, Poland, Spain, Brazil, Iceland and every other country on the planet and making friends and influencing people. What I said was that there was nothing criminal about those talks. You said it was a criminal conspiracy and that Trump was a criminal. You said he fired FB! Director because he wanted to shut down the criminal investigation which didn't exist.

You make up lies and twist news stories, and feign knowledge in an attempt to discredit patriotic Americans. You have damaged this forum beyond repair and many good long term members are no longer active because of your lies, contortions, and insults. Goodbye troll.

Well I'm not sure either of us wants to dig out posts from last year. They may not even be on the system, given the database problems. I know that when the call went out for money to support the site, I kicked in. Did you? And if the call goes out again, I'll kick in again. Money equals speech, pal. Meanwhile the rules are...disagree on the issues, try to avoid the middle school name-calling. I hold up my end up in that regard.

So tell me where the trade taxes figure in the Master Plan.

To prime your pump, here's my take. Trump likes them for symbolic purposes with the base, and as a possible tool for gaining leverage in foreign policy. But they come with huge down side risk. How is US business supposed to make plans in a climate with an unstable tariff policy? Insofar as the recent economic activity is driven by business investment, Trump is creating an incentive for some businesses to think twice. Handing a big issue to his 2020 opponents perhaps.

I would love to see all our posts compared side by side. Do you deny the fact that back in 2015 I said Trump would be the next President while you spouted off that he wasn't a serious candidate, he was a moron, he was just promoting his TV show, that he was really supporting Hillary, that he would never be nominated. Then you said every low life lying thing you could dream up... Trump was a child molester, he was a tax fraud, the dossier was true... all made up cowardly lies. Now you are bragging about contributing to the forum... That is stooping to a ridiculous low... why don't you email Pat and ask her if I contributed to the site?
