    Be afraid, very afraid!

Now with the Presidents personal attorney being raided what is next? Will our Priest have to record your confessional or how about your medical records. Just how much does the government need to know about us? Go to see your lawyer, what crime might you have committed? Talk to your priest/minister, what are you feeling guilty about. Everybody has something that they don't want the world to know about.

Do you know why Cohen was raided?

Because his actions showed probable cause to an extent that even Trump appointees and a Federal Magistrate couldn't ignore, despite the elevated protections for attorney-client privilege?

Yes, He is Trump's lawyer and that's reason enough. Lawyer/client privilege is not a Constitutional right, and Sam is right, neither is the priest/confessional privilege.

In this case the lawyer paid money to a whore to keep her quiet. It matters not whether Trump knew of the payment. It matters not if the alleged activity is true or false. It matters not whether the money came from the lawyers own assets. It matters not if Trump screwed her 10 million times... What matters is getting rid of Trump.

"Privilege," is a common law thing going back for centuries and now it is dead. BTW, it's death is as sure as the demise of the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments... the heart of the Bill of Rights + the "innocent until proven guilty," tenet.

If I were a lawyer receiving $2.5 million dollars a year from a client, would I ante up $130k to keep my job? Hell, yeah!

If I were on trial for murder, would it matter if my conversations with my lawyer were used against me?

        That is our only choices.

Mueller is a criminal at large and his primary semi automatic weapon is the left wing judges appointed by Obama.

The Bill of Rights is dead, and so is the Constitution. togor and the anti American haters have won... You can either turn in your weapons (including knives and sharp screwdrivers) or commit suicide by cop like dolt recommends.

Point #1, This one wasn't Mueller.

Point #2, There are laws governing this kind of payment in the context of federal elections.

Point #3, If Trump was unknowing and unauthorizing of this activity as he claims to be, then as a believer in the rule of law he is saddened by his lawyer's actions but understands that we are a nation of laws.

Trump is sure acting like a guy with a lot on the line, yes?

If you think this was because of Stormy, you may be in for dissapointment. Truth is, no one knows. It's not unprecedented, but we do know it's serious to get approvals for each location for data collection.

He may have broken the law. Sounds like the constitution is working as intended.

Mueller is trying to get Trump to fire him, as per Schumer's instructions. This whole charade is being run by Clinton stooges, proving the American people made the right choice in not electing F. von Pantsuit. She is using every card she can deal from the bottom of the deck to unseat a legitimately elected President. Yes Togor, Trump may have (or may not) violated an election statute. There is ample evidence HRC violated the Espionage Act and probably sold U.S. diplomatic secrets to adversarial governments and actors. That is a capital offense.

I understand Trump's frustration to some degree. He made a long career in a really cutthroat business without ever getting a rectal exam by the Feds. It has to be galling. But he's POTUS now, he took an oath to the country. If he had some other plan in mind then he shouldn't have signed up.

What would happen if Trump would fire Muller, I bet the President could survive it.

S.A. Boggs. I agree with you completely. In fact, I believe his base of supporters would love it. I know that I would.

Just another baldfaced, cowardly lie. Trumps rectum has been scrutinized by scanning microscopes a thousand times since 2015.

How can you live with yourself? Lies on top of lies. If you have children, I'd bet they have zero respect for a low life lying traitor... er, ah, that would be you.

Can you look at this rationally for even a millesecond? You're angry because Trump is angry. But why is Trump spittle-shower angry about this? Bill Clinton endured far worse. Reagan had the arms-for-hostages inquiry going, and he just took it like the man we knew him to be. And as you know, while the Mueller probe has already uncovered some crooks, raised awareness of Russian botnets and cutouts and troll farms meddling with our elections (all useful public services), so far Trump himself has escaped trouble. You say it is because there is nothing to find. So what harm has there been to Trump, what justification is there for such rhetorical violence on his part? Instead of setting a good example and letting the law work, as other presidents have done, he is throwing a fit as one would expect of a guilty man desperately trying to keep secrets hidden.

I remember one of your posts where you said something to the effect that you're rarely wrong about people, but when you are it's spectacular. I'm wondering if you have a nagging fear that you were (spectacularly) wrong about Trump and so you take your frustrations out on people like me. Well no matter because my skin is think and I don't mind the conversation.

Lets see Clinton was impeached and he still finished out his term. I say if the President did wrong then let him face the Judge. However this seems to be a witch hunt to me.

What are you talking about.... Clinton's personal lawyer didn't have his office broken into and ransacked by a bunch of out of control FBI agents. Clinton's campaign wasn't spied on by his opponent... Clinton didn't have FBI agents lying to a judge so they could spy on him personally... Clinton didn't have dozens of newspapers and TV shows posting coordinated lies about him that was paid for by his opponent... None of Clinton's joy girls were paraded in front of the public on 60 minutes... Mueller hasn't "uncovered a damn thing about Trump colluding with Russia... Manafort and Gates were already being investigated and would have been prosecuted regardless whether or not Trump won.

None of the illegal doings at the FBI would have ever come out if your BFF Hillary had won. As it stands now we are going to lose all of our 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th amendment rights... Nobody will ever again be willing or able to talk to their lawyer without somebody listening in...

Here is a little factoid you will never hear about, that will never be investigated: Of all the foreigners Hillary Clinton held meetings with while Secretary, 57% of them gave money to the Clinton slush fund. Russia, the Ukraine, Saudi Arabia and even Nigeria, contributed millions of dollars. And Bill Clinton, while Hillary was Secretary of State, gave over a dozen $500,000 speeches overseas and received millions from these same countries. No FBI investigation, no robbing his campaign manager and personal lawyer, and no illegal wiretaps on his personal phone and you think that was worse than what Trump has experienced. That is just another huge, bald faced lie.
