That's disheartening. I don't agree with you on a whole lot but pay attention to what you say. That is a flippant comment about a very, very serious subject. I remember similar comments about Trump from his supporters when people questioned the ethics of his business practices.
The issue is the active suppression of conservative and libertarian speech by the left. It isn't just in social media and the press. The last President, after the rise of the "Tea Party" used the IRS and other government agencies as well to suppress them prior to the 2012 election. It worked too. One of the proposed articles of impeachment against Richard Nixon was that he merely talked about what Barak Obama actually did and that he did it isn't even open to debate because the IRS has actually admitted that it happened.
Among the things that truly made this country great, and still do are free speech and an apolitical civil service, and the acceptance of the results of elections. Were well on the way to losing all three.Comment

Art I agree that Facebook is a scourge. My wife and I don't have pages, and my kids seem to find them less relevant with time.
But Facebook is a for profit company, private property. To the extent it is a media company, well the "fairness doctrine" is gone. What you post on Facebook is subject to the terms and conditions of your user agreement, with your content residing on their servers, which are their private property. People who feel they are treated unjustly should take a hike, right?Last edited by togor; 04-11-2018, 05:38.Comment

No--they should get a life; a real one, that is. But that applies equally to the idiots who feel they ARE treated justly!
Oh, what a heart-breaking tragedy that the "privacy" of these dopes was "violated." I LOVE it!
Not that I'm in any way defending the left-wing, sanctimonious, goody-two-shoes, dork-faced MF who owns the thing!Comment
