    The REAL Nazis--

A woman who took to a parenting blog to ask if she was in the wrong for allowing her 4-year-old daughter to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich received plenty of feedback.

Parents of kids with food allergies, especially peanuts and tree nuts. The bane of every school superintendent's existence.

Parents of ADD brats in the same category. Making the rest of the word suffer is the way they compensate for their defective kids; after the first one, compulsory sterilization should be mandated.

Don't have to be a teacher! PBS news recently gave the crazy breeder of an ADD brat a lengthy platform for instructing everyone else of their civic & moral "obligation" to put up with the "minor inconvenience" of the screaming tantrums her defective kid regularly caused in restaurants, theaters, airplanes, etc. Bitch said she never removed her brat from the scenes of these outbursts, because it was good for the brat's development to "work through" the fit!

With parents like these, is it any wonder that school shootings are a national plague?

A grown up would tell their kids we can't eat that right now because it may cause another child to get sick. Period. Why do we need to explain this to you?"
Cut the PC crap. I told my kids it wasn't the proper time nor place. Learn some manners.
PBJ in a shopping cart is Target's fault for condoning and barely profiting from that nonsense. Who wants to grab a cart some kid has dribbled and smeared stuff all over?

            No PB&J Sandwich for Barney

Seems that the peanut allergy is a relatively new phenomenon. Some say there is a connection between immunizations and the allergies.

Couldn't resist. One of my favorite episodes with Leon. Leon always packed a PB&J along with his cap pistols.

Yes, don't recall this problem in my school days 1954-1967.
Why aren't the kids with the "allergies" being isolated then. Have them eat in a separate lunchroom.

People allergic to peanuts should just die and and get out of the way.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Not only the allergies, but some are looking into vaccines being links to other conditions such as autism.
I agree. The rise of peanut allergy is much more prevalent now than it was in the 60's. I noticed it myself almost 10 years ago. It has gotten to the point where we (as groups) can't pass out taffy apples rolled in nuts anymore due to liability reasons.

Used to be parents would educate their kids what not to eat if they were allergic. School cafeteria staffs were notified what NOT to serve to a handful of kids. Of course back then the staff actually cared. I remember "Old Miss Lake" telling kids their doctor said they can't have this or that. The rest of us weren't forced to sacrifice. It was what it was and we all learned a little something about it.

That's a bit harsh. Shipping them off to leper colonies would be much more humane.

Polio was eventually determined to be a consequence of improved sanitation. Previously it was a virus in constant circulation, and when it infects infants, there were no significant effects and immunity was established. Time goes by people aren't exposed to it as infants anymore. When it strikes older children and adults, the effects are very different. These days you have a couple of different extremes, the clean-freaks who want everything anti-bacterial, and avoid contact with anything potentially allergy-forming. They're the ones whose kids end up having trouble with peanuts, eggs, shellfish, etc. On the other hand are the anti-vaxxers who are all natural about everything. They're the one who end being being the repositories for diseases like the measles.

CH likes to talk about the disease-ridden "turd world", but in reality they do a better job over there of priming their immune systems as children than do the people in the bleach-smelling USA.

My kids got their shots and were exposed to plenty of animals, dirt, grime, etc. growing up. They got good food in the right amounts, and none of them has any allergies to speak of.

School where my grandson goes has a policy of kids with peanut products must eat at a table away from peanut allergic kids. Is the school afraid of the allergic kid stealing a peanut product when they know not to eat it?

Where did AIDS, Ebola, Pin Head Disease, etc., originate? Not the civilized world.

I don't use or own bleach.

It doesn't change the fact that people in lands where such diseases exist have better immune systems than the people in the antiseptic first world.

Togor, I will agree to a certain extent. IMHO, it's the survivors over there who might have a stronger natural immune system.

The point was...our immune systems are built for a fight. If you don't give them one then they find it on their own. Allergies, autoimmune diseases, one way or the other.
