    Those Lady warriors from WW2 ...

    Well, "warriors" might be a little hyperbolic but you have
    to give credit where and when it's due. They did their bit.
    It may be hard to spot any Betty Grabels or Rita Hayworths
    in their midst but judging by the gangplank photo, the men
    on board ship obviously appreciated them.

              Read about the Nurses who were left on Bataan, perhaps you will lose some of your negative attitude about women in the service!
              Strange tho, I have not heard or read any comments about the ex-fighter pilot who got that that passenger jet down safe last week.

                There was the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion-the only battalion of black WACs sent overseas. They worked 3 shifts 24/7 sorting out the soldiers male which was badly backlogged.
