Freedom of the press is dead

The first article in the Bill of Rights includes the freedom of the press. That freedom is dead because there is only one "press," out there, and that one is in lock step with the Left Wing Socialists we used to call Democrats.. They are in the midst of conducting a coup de gras on the American Government and it's constitutionally elected President. The press is the right arm of the Democrat party. They are totally corrupt... they pay for "news" from our intelligence agencies and the pay off is in the form of jobs after they leave the agencies. Former Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper leaked to CNN and when he left he was paid off with a large salary in a job with... hold your breath... CNN.

Ben Rhodes was Obama's deputy national security advisor and according to Mark Dubowitz of the nonpartisan Foundation for the Defense of Democracies:

"Rhodes manipulated the press and the public, into believing various untrue things about the Iran deal"
Meanwhile CBS news was publishing glowing praise of the Iran deal. Makes sense when you know Ben Rhodes is the brother of David Rhodes the President of CBS News. It just goes on and on the newspapers and TV news is awash in corrupt Democrat hacks that now pretend to be journalists. From George Stephanopoulos, to DeeDee Myers, to Begala, and Carville from the Clinton years and even more from the BHO administration.

People like Maxine Waters get headlines in newspapers and TV coverage as well, by holding rallies where the subject is "Impeach, impeach, impeach, impeach, we don't need no reason... impeach, impeach, impeach.

And yes BHO is in the fray. Before the '16 election he opined that our system was so complicated that it could't possibly be rigged... too many precincts, the Electoral College, varying rules from State to State, etc. etc. But Hilly lost and now he claims the Russians fixed the election and Trump helped them and Mueller needs to take over and run the country... or almost.

We are in the most trouble since the Declaration of Independence. More so than in 1812, 1861, 1917, or 1941. More so than 1950 or even during the cold war and this time the enemy is already here and their reinforcements are pouring into our country across undefended borders.

Meanwhile the Stooges are laughing their ass off and having a joyous time celebrating the death of the American culture.

You seem like you're in a bad mood, maybe from watching too much TV. A good long walk in the fresh spring air might improve your disposition.

Ol' doom and gloom. I thought there was all this winning to celebrate?

Our National Socialists have and will continue to walk with those who wish us ill will and gloat about it. As has been noted, "It was their money after all and they deserved to get it back!" Makes sense, doesn't it...

Same left wing crap has been in full throttle for more than 30 years. Back in the 80's people were blaming the Jews for controlling the media. It wasn't the Jews, but many in advantageous places to spew propaganda just happened to be Jewish. The real culprits are ALL the millionaires who claim to be champions of the downtrodden. Communists wearing donkey clothing.

Quite possibly, but it wouldn't alter the reality of the media OBSESSION to ruin Trump, defame his supporters, & advance the left-wing agenda, by any means necessary. "Watching too much TV" yourself would be a badly needed antidote to your blissful ignorance of what's actually going on in this country.

I concurr. It's "it's Bush's fault" all over again. People are lemmings. When it's cool and in vogue, keep saying it over and over until it's not cool anymore. And then a few late arrivals will unwittingly say it. And then you know it's finally over. It's a sweet spot right now for late night t.v. and any other deviant/unemployable who can't get a job other than musician or comedian.

Road King nails it again .... doom and gloom is right . No matter what, Fox and Friends {part of the one press?} are going to convince people they should be unhappy ......

and with all this "winning" to celebrate ... they are still miserable.

Correct...because as it turns out, "winning" means little when the radical left-wing Federal judiciary (thanks, Obummer!) conspires to thwart virtually every Presidential action & decree; such as, for ex., DACA. The Federal judiciary had no objections when Obummer established this program for the express & admitted purpose of circumventing Congressional authority, but when Trump attempts to end this illegal program by the same procedure Obummer used to create it, suddenly HE, according to the same corrupt Federal judiciary, doesn't have the authority!

So there's ample reason to feel miserable, when you see an incredible Presidential upset all but NULLIFIED by a Democratic-controlled Federal judiciary.

No regrets for keeping cable TV out of the house. Like Skoal...for the mind. As for Trump, sorry, he brings it on himself. Came of age surfing the tabloid markets of NY, so he's taken his schtick national, and the national media takes it hook, line, and sinker. Case in point (and to show you that I'm not as oblivious to the basic facts as my lack of a cable TV box might lead you to think): The $130K payment to Stormy.

Cohen says: I paid it off a home equity line.

Trump says: I know nothing about how Cohen paid it.

Giuliani says: Trump paid Cohen $130K, but not from campaign funds.

Add to it the telegenic presences of Ms. Clifford and Mr. Avenatti, and sorry bud, but this is news.

Trump wants to have his cake and eat it too, to keep his private business hidden and yet be known as a man with nothing to hide. The press isn't having any of it, nor should they, because they too are in business to make money, and the public wants to know. Clicks are up! And Trump himself wouldn't have it any other way, because it keeps his base (guys like you?) whipped up, and ultimately in line.

Well sorry about that Clinton but it seems we were here on Culvers years ago blaming a left wing Federal Judiciary for Bushs failure ... and he did fail . Alas ..... we get what we give .

But what's happening now is a rude wake up to Trump and his followers.... he ... like they... thought we'd all hired a new CEO..or King.... that was just going to change the whole world with just a quick flourish of an $ 850 Montblanc pen .

Gee... lets make an enemy of everyone and then expect them to play ball .... how's that working out for us now ?

As far as Daca.... did you vote for someone who prevented those kids parents from crossing the border .... you didn't did you? Unless you voted Pat Buchanan those kids are on you.

The choice is always between the lesser of two evils. I was fooled by Bush's pretense of being a Conservative. Now I wish I'd voted for Al Gore, not because he'd have done more to keep out the wetbacks, but because he wouldn't have created the Middle East disaster that's brought millions of ragheads into this country in addition to the wetbacks!

Didn't vote for Pat, but I voted twice for George Wallace; that didn't help much.

"Making enemies" has no bearing whatsoever on the determination of the Democratic Federal judiciary to throw away all pretense of "fair & impartial" justice, and using every power they have, nullify the results of the election.

Nullify the results you say ... well Sir I never would have voted for Obama... and in fact didn't. But I knew we weren't right when the ... as its called here .. Liberal press started laying claim he was going to take the Oath of Office on the Koran. I never believed he was Muslim ... I never believed he was born in Kenya . But most of us just wanted to believe that in the worst way ... didn't we ? We all clung to the TV sets to see if Obama was wearing his wedding ring during Ramadan .... because Fox News told us Muslims don't wear jewelry during the holy month... remember that?

making enemies has an awfull lot to do with everything

Nobody with a brain ever believed the oath of office would be on a Koran. Just like nobody with a brain ever believed the wedding BS. Just like nobody with a brain ever thought Trump even knew who David Duke was.

You believed it, I'm sure. That shows you if brains were dynamite, you couldn't blow your nose.
