I noticed that too and thought that perhaps just the movie plane had her painted in red but these pictures show both and some appear to be old with the lady in red. Some show her in nude or peach colored.

Since I've only seen WW2 black and white photos of her, I had no notion that her color was tan. Was it tan in WW2?
