    Done with Leftflix

First,Netflix puts Susan Rice on it's board of directors. Now it appears they have made a deal with the
Obama duo. I am cancelling my subscription after several years. I am certain there will be more than enough folks thrilled with their decision to take my place. Not too computer savvy, if someone could post the relevant links it may be helpful.

If you cancel you'll miss the obamas' remake of
Casablanca starring Will Smith and Oprah Winfrey.

Are you serious? Is this really in the works? I feel like a fool, but perhaps I need to reconsider. Thanks for the heads up dogtag.

        What's a Netflix?
I dream of a better world. One where chickens may cross the road without their motives being questioned.

Here you are. The comment about Casablanca may have been sarcasm. Also noted is that George Soros controls Netflix.

It's a company that began life as a DVD rental by mail organization. As on-line streaming took the place of DVD's Netflix changed to that also. Basically it is similar to Direct TV but done through your computer for a monthly fee. The shows are mostly older stuff and as far as I know have nothing recent. Very limited, but much cheaper. Some people prefer this over having dish antenna's and contracts.

Not to worry. Soros just wants to establish a small income stream to support the former President while he is incarcerated. The guilty bastard. Regards, Clark

People look me like I'm strange when I tell them I have never owned a television and rarely watch one.

There's obvious advantages to that especially in today's world but personally I can't picture life w/o TV. My wife stays glued to the tube watching her Hallmark movies and soap opera type stuff. News is best off of the computer by far over TV but you don't get the local news. I have Direct TV with the "Genie" where I can record shows then FF thru commercials and crap. Otherwise we are both very selective about what we watch and are aware of all the liberalism and brainwashing that is present in almost every thing shown. W/O TV though I think my wife and I would sit around and stare at each other a lot.

Yes, but also a huge disadvantage, if you're interested in knowing why American popular culture is so debased. The garbage transmitted over TV is what the majority of our mindless, self-absorbed, population live on--such as the fantastic, unparalleled, weeks-long coverage of the most trivial & contemptible event in the last century: the "royal wedding" of two non-entities. News that a giant asteroid was certain to hit the earth could not generate more round the clock TV coverage.

Now OF COURSE no one possessing shat for brains needs actually to view this mainstream idiocy, any more than you need to jump in a cesspool to know it's a nasty place. But you DO need to know that the majority of our (brainless) "fellow Americans" are absolutely obsessed by it! Knowing that, it's easy to understand how such a debacle as 8 yrs of Obama could occur.

Allen, so do I. I record what I like and play back later, "Fast Forward " is a great feature.... It's is hard to believe someone has never owned a TV and never watched same.

It is not only Strange it is cockeyed. You are like the coach that refuses to watch videos of his teams next opponent. Or a President that says "We don't need no stupid intelligence on what our enemies are capable of."

TV is a source of information. A lot of which is lies and fake but is still valuable info as to what the bad guys are up to. Then there are things like tornado warnings, flood watches, etc. that most people should be aware of... and then there are things on TV like... baseball games that a lot of people find interesting, or old movies and TV shows like Gunsmoke, Red Skelton, Death Valley Days, and Rawhide can still be be entertaining.

Denying yourself a source of information is never clever and neither is burying your head in the sand like the proverbial ostrich. JMHO

I couldn't bear his idiotic antics when I WAS six years old! At the time, he seemed to be on TV variety shows ALL the time!

So Red if someone disagrees with you about TV then they're doing TV wrong? That seems kind of insecure. Have you always needed external validation of your life choices? The simpler assumption is that barretcreek is a grown-up and knows what works for him.
