And why no comments on Trump, canceling the summit with Kim???

The reason is obvious and that is what is wrong with this forum. Just an observation FWIW.

Not obvious to me. Anyway, what is there to say? Despite the hype, it was always a long shot, likely to fizzle out with neither side being satisfied; this clean break is better than a long drawn out debacle.

Only thing I'd say is HOW xxxxING STUPID for asshole Bolton to bring up the Lybian fiasco??? Bolton a conservative??? He filed a Supreme Court brief IN SUPPORT OF homo-marriage!!!

I don't see the obvious either. Trump had no other choice but to cancel. Kim was making daily threats himself about canceling. First he said that he was going to cancel due to the U.S and SK training exercises going on, then he said he wasn't giving up his nukes, then he said the meeting wasn't going to be a once sided affair, then the most recent is he called Pence a "political dummy". He was going on and on. It looked like he was trying to make a chump out of Trump and the U.S.

The letter was fully dictated by Trump. The letter doesn't sugar coat anything, gets right to the point, reminds Kim he can have peace or complete annihilation but yet is thankful and polite.

IIRC it was Theodore Olsen who filed a brief supporting "homo-marriage."

It wasnt a surprise that Trump made the United States look weak again. Wooo

Frankly it was apparent to me the Nth. Koreans were pulling the plug ... so he did it first to appear to be the one stearing the ship ... I

and I don't believe our great "negotiator" understands that the oriental { Chinese / Koreans } mindset places a great deal of importance on saving face.... just like him .

I think pulling the plug was a good move. The letter is a little unusual but it gets the job done. Maybe the SK government is bummed but they've done alright in the last 60 years under the status quo. Let's see what happens next.
