The capacity of some here to eat their own still can surprise me. It's not enough to disagree with someone's career in politics, it becomes necessary to go all the way back to their time in uniform and trash that too. If Vietnam vets are eventually looked on as but a footnote in the history of our country, it may be in part because of the number they did on each other after the war. Suffice it to say that McCain did the best job he could while in uniform. That it's not retroactively good enough for some is immaterial to him I am sure. And it's not like those criticizing him went on to become kings of the world either.

yup ... I told you about "my alien invader wife" ..... who I'm proud to say has done more for America than most people I know .

She's never collected a social benefit ...she purchases her own medical insurance even though it sometimes takes some very very long work days to do so . Any and all debts , medical or otherwise.. paid in full and have never have been paid late.

She employs people .... sometimes at the same money she makes.... just to make sure they can get by .

There are times she works for elderly people for Jack Shxt...even free, simply because they need the help and because their own "American" families can't get off their ass to take care of their own .

And she's just spent 7 weeks trying desperately to hire more Americans ...... and failed. Of 30+ applicants only five could pass a background check @ $29 a pop. Of those five ...

One applicant doesn't want to work Mondays or Fridays ...one doesn't want to work Mondays or Wednesdays..... another has a home address that comes up as a Dominoes Pizza and the latest is a 28 yr old who needs a ride to work because she's lost her drivers licence for life.....

Unfortunately there are no more bites from the immigrant comunity.... it would appear they are all too busy working instead of whining .

So.... credibility ? Sorry Boston.... but I'd be a bit more proud of my US citizenship if so many immigrants weren't .... well.... better at being American than we are

John McCain did not have the high school grades to enroll at Annapolis. His Dad and Grandfather were Admirals, so he was enrolled. John did not have the grades to qualify for Naval flight training upon graduation from Annapolis. The two Admirals got him to Pensacola. Again, he did not do well enough in flight training to qualify for a fighter assignment, but his family connections got him the fighter assignment. When he was assigned to the Squadron aboard the carrier, he was a junior officer who acted like he owned the ship and the squadron. Why, because his name was McCain, and everyone knew who his Dad was. When he was elected to the Senate, he had gone as far as he could on his family's name. He has dishonored his own name by pretending to be a Conservative, while doing everything he could to enable the dems, and hinder "his" party. Hasta la vista, John.
