Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs says that for way too long, his city has been known for headlines about bankruptcy, violent crime and the housing collapse.
In the future, he wants it to be known as a place willing to test bold solutions.

Then come up with another solution to reverse the vacated homes, lack of businesses, and take care of the bankruptcy the city in embroiled in. Can't toss his own paycheck into the fund because there won't be any!

1. Guaranteed Basic Income:

How can this go wrong? It has been practiced in Great Britain for generations - which is why GB is the economic and social powerhouse of the world - outpacing any other European country in GDP, quality of life, low crime rate, and all other positive measures. The British economy and quality of life outpaces the US, Japan, Russia, and China - it is paradise on earth. And all thanks to the dole and the deliberately contrived Welfare State (their term, not mine - look it up).

2. Stipends for Shooters.

This is really a thinly veiled sting operation by the Justice Department - the "Mayor" is really a deeply embedded mole. I mean, think it through -

To qualify for the money, you have to be a potential shooter. How would such a person be identified and approved?

a. Show credentials to prove you are a violent person - such as a felony conviction for a crime of violence.

b. Show that you have the means to commit a shooting crime - such as possessing a firearm.

By applying and being approved for the program you have confessed to violating Federal gun laws. You will then be convicted, locked up, and receive your $1000 per month in Federal prison.

This is BRILLIANT! And cheap at twice the price! way to go, Agent Tubbs!
