Have you noticed that it is usually leftist who answer the call of their demons? Several years ago there was a movie that had the devil in it who looked remarkably like old Obama.

Sam, you of all people should know better than to toss that blanket out there. The "leftist" celebrities tend to lead a more shallow and superficial life style to begin with. Therefore when their comfort zone (house of cards on a sand pile) caves in, they are the ones who are more highly publicized when they off themselves.
Others who feel their lives have implode are considered non-entities in the grand scheme of things and aren't newsworthy.

But without doubt they're deeply disappointed that they can't point to the "easy availability of guns" as the cause for the two most recent cases.

Actually, we owe Tony a debt of thanks for not using a gun, because he was very familiar with them & frequently featured hunting on his programs; mainly bird hunting, but he killed a stag in Scotland & a boar in Austria, I think.

I don't know if anyone else has seen a man who hanged himself, but here's a tip -- if you're going to kill yourself, hanging is a VERY bad way to do it.

People who hang themselves die by strangulation -- and leave plenty of evidence that they changed their minds when it was too late. The one I saw had clawed all the flesh off the area around the noose, trying to get it off.

Unless you fall far enough to break your neck; then it's far swifter & more merciful than all these botched lethal injections we hear about. The means of inflicting capital punishment were never "broke," merely abandoned for what was more high-tech & "scientific," like electrocution.

You have to tie your hands behind your back first, then that wouldn't happen.
