Real Men don't ride kids' scooters ...

    Scooters are for kids.
I made my own when I was a kid as did all the other kids.
Scrap wood nailed together with car wheel bearings for
wheels. Kinda noisy but no one cared. But in today's world
it's not kids but young men beyond their teens who are riding
around on those little scooters with the 2" wheels - same
thing with skateboards. What's wrong with these sad
excuses for men ? When if ever will they grow up ?

Just cause you don't like it don't call names to people who do! The gun banners say the same about us! In other words---as Frank would have said---'mind your own bees wax'!
You can never go home again.

I must have hit the target. Don't fall off your scooter.

My Grandson's pocket rocket cycle is a hoot to ride. That thing will do 30 mph! That's almost scary!

Cuban family near me bought their daughter one of those scaled down battery operated Vespa's this week. I commented to him about how fast it looked after seeing her circle the block a few times.
A few hours later he was riding it and I teased him about stealing his kids toys. "Dude, do you know how fast this thing is? Wanna take it for a spin?"

          He was having FUN.

Back when I rode off the beaten path there was a married couple who had his and hers Vespa's. One day some of us pulled up next to them on our bikes with "leather" and full helmets/gloves/black boots. Here was the "couple" dressed in matching outfits, cute hats and sandals. Guy's name was "Sandy" who looked more like a Barbie doll! One of our church brothers is a member of our local "Bikers for Christ" and in good weather ride to church. It's been over 30 years since my bride and I have ridden but I still have my MC endorsement. Maybe one of these days...

Have not had one since a kid. We made ours with a wood 'orange crate', a 2x4, and half a roller skate at each end. But I am sure you are not referring to kids toys! Saw a TV vid of some skate board race, mostly down hill and many sharp curves. Regular pave road, closed for the event. Those guys were hitting speeds of 40MPH around the curves! That takes balls!

Now that's funny. All it needs is streamers hanging from the grips and of course a real seat.

Honda is coming back out with the old "Cub 50" supposedly the most sold bike ever worldwide. The new version is 125cc instead of 50cc. I like these because they were everywhere when I was younger. I would like to have one now except for the $3-$4000 price tag and that red seat.

Allen, you don't really "...meet the nicest people on a Honda" anymore.
