Could the USS Pueblo be coming home?

    A fine goodwill gesture.

    Let's see what happens?

What would they want in return...Disneyland? The Pueblo is NK's greatest tourist attraction and one of their greatest propaganda tools.

It would be nice but is it worth the cost to tow it home or put it on one of those floating transport ships like the one that brought the Cole home.

In N.K., it's a symbol of symbol of victory, successful aggression, military swagger; what could it be here but a symbol of national shame over the failure of our country to do anything about the seizure?

Leave it where it is. It's not worth the effort.

What's more important is that recovered Korean U.S. soldiers remains may be brought home.

                  Should be first priority!

Why couldn't the USN have had an Diesel sub shadowing and explode two torpedoes, bracketing the bow and stern of the attacker.

OF course, nothing was done to support the USS LIBERTY! [Wasn't that another democRAT administration???]

Sort of wipes out the concept of plausible deniability in regard to covert operations.
