The signs of a sick society ...

Ancient Rome suffered from an excess of queers before
she was overpowered by the uncivilized hordes who's army
did not contain men who pretended they were women.
Now in today's America we have men pretending to be
women in order to win races they otherwise could not win
or to gain access to the womens' showers. As far as I'm
concerned this behavior is not only sick, it's dangerous.
    It's liberalism run amuck.
What you have between your left and right leg determines
what sex you are, and that should be the only determination,
period. These sickos who think different should be confined
    to a mental institution.

    Like him?

Well, if letting men-freaks participate as girl-freaks stirs up hatred for all trans-freaks, it's GOOD.

I think that Alexander the Great was a Homo and he built a pretty decent empire.

But men acting like women, well that's a different kettle of panty hose.

He was brought up in a world, the ancient Greek world, in which bi-sexualism was almost the norm, although it was quite different from modern faggotry in that mature men practiced the abomination almost exclusely with beardless boys; pederasty, in modern law. But read any scholarly bio of Alexander, & you'll find that his interest in sex was marginal, as from an early age he was obsessed with one thing: military greatness.

"Hypocrisy is the homage that Vice pays to Virtue". Then we have all the Liberals who are constantly being exposed as tax cheats, or say they are pro-family while advocating those policies-welfare and abortion-that have done the most to undermine the family.
I wonder how much of our knowledge of the Ancient Greeks attitudes towards sexuality has any basis in fact. The only homosexual unit in the Greek city-states was the Sacred Band of Thebes, and they were used as shock troops, always in the front line. Leonidas' 300 was a "sire" unit-every man had fathered a child because they had a good idea they weren't coming back.

Because of his sexual preferences or in spite of... that is the question.

One of the disgusting facts of ancient Greek life contributing to the prevalence of homoism was repression of women as extreme as that now practiced by the Taliban; by & large, they just weren't allowed out of their homes. Roman women had great freedom, comparatively, and the prevalence of homoism was correspondingly smaller, though in pagan society there was no religious injunction against it--that began with the Jews, who pronounced it an abomination deserving of death.

Geeze another gay thread to get CH all fired up. CH loves gays because without them there would be so much less to discuss. DT does too, apparently but he's British so yeah it makes sense. I'm not gay, nor do I golf, so unless either of those groups is trying to force me to go with them, I don't care what they do out in the woods or in the steam room at the club.

Being of British origins you'd think he be using his native "pooftah". Hmmm

Reminds me of a story I once heard. Seems like these 2 old guys (1 was a Greek and the other was an Italian) were sitting on a park bench and got to arguing about which civilization was greater, the Greek or the Roman.

The Greek guy said "our empire was bigger than yours"

The Italian guy countered " ours lasted longer"

The Greek guy said " we invented philosophy"

The Italian guy said " we invented Latin, the language all modern western languages are based upon"

This went back and forth for quite a while with the Greek guy getting hotter as the Italian always had a come back.

Finally the Greek guy sat there for 5 minutes thinking hard and then said " we invented sex", he figured he had him.

The Italian guy said " but we introduced it to women"

I am reminded of the Great Dictators meeting.

Stalin said, "I will rule the world. The victory of Communism is inevitable."

Mussolini said "I will rule the world. Rome ruled the world before and will rule it again."

Hitler said, "I will rule the world. I am the Fuhrer of the Master Race. God told me I would rule the world."

And Roosevelt said, "Now, Hitler, I never told you any such thing."

But he might have said, or least hinted it, to Uncle Joe.
