    Progression

For the vast majority of Americans, the military is a source of pride. And because of the uncompromising nature of war, and the naturally masculine virtues of the military—courage, discipline…

Interesting. Friend's niece is a Marine O-4. Totally against women in primarily combat roles, thinks civil action assignments are very good examples of the value women contribute.

I have said it before and I'll say it again. We should form two rifle companies, one all female and the other all female. They should carry all the equipment, weapons, ammo and supplies a rifle company carries in combat. Let one start from Mount Katadin, in Baxter State Park, Maine and walk south along the Appalachian Trail. Let the other company start from Springer Mountain in Amicalola Falls State Park, Georgia, and walk north. We'll see where they meet.

The gist of the piece is that the Military belongs to the right. Is that what people think?

Vern, that is not fair for the "less fortunate" and they need the extra help of less to walk, less to carry, and perhaps transportation to make them equal.

having done that walk myself, I would like to see ANYONE make that trek with all that gear.
