Old news, Hillary has already met with hers. By the way, how is the boat trip on the River Denial doing?

How our language morphs over time. I remember when it was a play on words being the Queen/King of da Nile. Then I began hearing "He's taking a trip down da Nile." Has it really become 'River Denial' now? Kind of loses the humorous connection. Eventually once it no longer makes much sense, no one will be left alive to explain how it started. Sad.2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!

The River Denial goes back to my former profession when a client was in denial about why they placed themselves into their situation. Denial often led to the clients death/incarceration in many cases. In front of the client we used the term boat trip or barge trip with the understanding of the clients placed situation. Same applies to "our" three in "their" situation of denial. In the really old day it was coined missing the bus.

Yes, I know exactly what it means. But the professionals I used to circulate with always made it a play on words. Same as others I knew/know from outside the profession. Da Nile/Denial/The Nile...see? Sometimes the word 'trip' was worked into it but it always maintained that play on words.
"River Denial" misses that punch line. That's all I was commenting on.2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!

Just another underhanded cowardly attack by a underhanded lying American traitor. Why this, why now? Could it be a drowning swimmers last gasp for air? I sure hope so.https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/21/polit...ing/index.html

The more meetings the better AFAIC. Rather than write it all out, I simply searched and got plenty of hits in regard to US/Russia meetings. I do not think every President since WW2 was in cahoots with the Russkies. Just because of recent wild-assed accusations by the opposition, should Trump avoid Putin? If he did, how in Hell's name would that help us?https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/21/polit...ing/index.html

Take a look at the list:

Yeah, it's the Telegraph but the list is there and they can only comment on it, not change it.2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!

The sad part is where this river leads to. I had one client, bright ex-Navy who was in denial about his drug use that he acquired in the Navy. Stated he did it to relieve the "boredom" of what he did. This lead him to a felony and a prole officer as well as being assigned to my agency. Went to pick him up one May morning and I found him sitting on his porch dead, he had apparently OD. He had been there all night as he had just finished cutting his grass and drinking a glass of lemonade. His death came suddenly, probably an MCI as the look on his face was of total surprise. I called his grandmother [his caretaker], one job I hated to do and she wasn't surprised of his death. The River Denial is never smooth sailing for anyone who launches their boat on it.Yes, I know exactly what it means. But the professionals I used to circulate with always made it a play on words.
