Of course not, but PLEASE don't fall into the trap of allowing PC to dictate your choice of terminology for this deviant "condition." "Gay" is their duplicitous euphemism for the scientifically correct word "homosexual"; in fact "homosexual" is itself a kind of euphemism originated to replace the historical word "Sodomite." Incredibly, our culture has sunk so far into the grip of PC that even in the Supreme Court, this stupid & false word has replaced the proper one!

Concocting euphemisms isn't merely a by-product of PC, it's at the very core of it, because it's difficult to enforce PC if things are called by their traditional, legally & medically, correct names; thus "illegal alien," perfectly correct legally, has been banished by the national media--PC now demands that we call them "undocumented migrants," or better yet, just migrants or emigrants.

We can't do much to oppose the power of the national media to tell us what language is or is not PC, but one thing we CAN do is refuse to use those misleading euphemisms ourselves!

For those among you who aren't idiots, & might find it interesting to consider how the meaning of this once common & useful word has been corrupted & degraded by changing its innocent meaning to denote, now, a revolting perversion, here's a very short list of movies made before homos expropriated the word: The Gay Divorcee, The Gay Nineties, The Gay Lady, The Gay Diplomat, The Gay Caballero, The Gay Girls, The Gay Cavalier, & many more. Add to that names of songs & works of fiction, & the number goes through the roof. But there are now millions of mindless millennials (Sako?) who have absolutely no clue that "gay" ever applied to anything but homoism! When TCM runs one of these movies, the host usually feels it necessary to tell viewers "no, it doesn't mean what you may be thinking," or other words to that effect. THAT is a measure of how deeply this PC rot has sunk into American culture!

The newest euphemism is "LGBTQ"...because the most radical of them have decided they don't mind being called "queer"! They revel in their queerness! So can we all go back to using that good old fashioned word? Sadly, I suspect, they'll say only they can call each other queer, and normal folks ("normal" is another word they dislike) must refer to them as PC dictates.

ANY intelligent, wide-awake, observer of the American cultural scene (which you, evidently, are not) could not FAIL to see & hear blared out everyday on TV & in the left-wing press every detail of the homo agenda, values, lifestyle. It's EVERYWHERE: even, now, on PBS Masterpiece Theatre, which has a new show devoted to promotion of the homo lifestyle...as if it wasn't being hyped sufficiently on commercial TV.
