I don't understand the difference here, if she was refused service because she was black it would be a hate crime,if she was refused service because she was a muslim it would be a hate crime, if she was refused service because she is a woman it would be a hate crime.

To refuse her service based upon who she works for is a right?

When people play politics such as this restaurant owner you automatically piss off half the people. For the most part her future customers will be democrat only now. I wonder if that is really the type clientele anyone would want.
