    Justice Kennedy is retiring....

He is doing the proper thing. Nobody 80+ years old should be involved in making life and death decisions that impact 100's of millions of Americans.

Ginzburg is 85 and is a total pawn of the Democrats. She would have quit the instant Hillary was elected but will still be voting the progressive line even when she is 110, in a coma, and unresposive. Her "staff'" are the ones that have voted on all the recent cases anyway. All she does is scratch her signature on one of those little computer devices that FedEx etc. use.

When you look at the major decisions of the past 40 years, you will see that there are 4 justices that never disagree with anything that their Democrat handlers are in favor of... They don't care much about the Constitution, or legally enacted and signed laws the Congress passes and are signed by any President. The 2nd Amendment was upheld in the Heller case. If you read the details, a Washington DC police officer wanted a gun and the courts said no. Despite the "shall not be infringed," language in the 2nd amendment, the case went to SCOTUS. The 4 Democrat judges stuck by their marching orders and said "There is no RKBA." Thank God Justice Kennedy was there or we would have lost the 2nd amendment AND the rest of the Bill of Rights as well.

That would have apparently been just fine with the left wing dictators and the Stooges.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, if Trump nominated Hillary or Billy Clinton for the Supreme Court the Democrats would raise hell and call them racist, homophobes, sexist, Republican pawns.

Not to worry, I predict Trump will delay the nomination until after the November elections when the Republicans have 66 votes in the Senate. There is a Red wave coming...

Betcha he'll nominate a Woman (hopefully Janine Pirro).
Love that Woman. But too much to hope for.
It could send the 3 Stooges to the ER and I'd feel guilty.

Trump just announced that he had narrowed it down to 5 people and 2 of them are women.

I hope he names a replacement immediately and McConnell grows a set and tells the Senate "You're not going home until a replacement is confirmed".

Let's see how many Senators up for re-election want to spend all their campaign time, stuck in DC.

No, Trump did not announce that. ABC did. And, I don't believe a word of it, and neither should anybody else on earth.

If you watch the video linked above, the next tidbit is about Trump being "duped,' into thinking he was talking to a Senator while on Air Force One. Down right twist and turn, lie and burn. DJT never answers the phone. His staff does and if important, and if they tell him it is Senator XYZ on the line and it is an important... then (and only then) he might pick up the phone. If he did and it was a comedian impersonating a Senator, DJT's staff are the ones that were duped.
