Inadequate protection for White Rhinos ...

These fabulous animals are not being protected.
Oh yes I know they shot a couple of poachers a
while back - big deal. There aren't that many
White Rhinos left so why aren't the few that are
not given enough protection ? If the Africans are
as useless at this job as they are at everything
else, then maybe the US or the Brits or any other
capable entity should take the job on.
These animals are too precious to entrust their
preservation to a bunch of incompetents.

What hypocrisy, when everyone here is bashing McCain though?

But traitor-Repubs are FAR, sadly, from being an endangered species! Start with the two Bushes, Jeff Flake (who can't wait to put the kibosh on Trump's next SC nominee!), many more whose names I don't remember.

You think corrupt gov't officials aren't getting kick-backs from the poachers? Governmental corruption is a way of life everywhere in the Turd Word.

How are "... the US or the Brits or any other capable entity ...." supposed to protect the rhinos? With boots on the ground? Do we start a war to control their habitat?

I DON'T know what the solution is - evidently paying off poachers and limiting the market hasn't worked. What do you propose?

Not really - maybe we should "de-horn" McCain and all of the other American R(H)INOs....

Of course it's Boots on the ground, how the bloody hell else
could you protect them. The poachers need to be shot.
What brilliant idea do you have ? Oh, that's right, you don't have one.

Also the Chink middlemen who are the principal buyers for every endangered animal product on the planet.

So you propose that the US invade yet another country - this time in Africa? How Bush-esque.

If the experts don't have a solution, you expect "brilliant ideas" from an Internet Forum? I already said I didn't have a good answer - but it's not hard to spot a bad one.

"Invade another country" ? You're too stupid to deserve a reply.

                    Whoa - brilliant response.

Well thought out, pithy, and provides a perfect plan for saving the rhinos.

You’ve been looking in the mirror too long.

Are you sure you’re not just a clone of togor?

I'm with BB on this. You can't fix stupid. The poachers are mindless thugs that would do anything for a dollar. They are ignorant, uneducated, people of the "turd' world. It is not our fault. It cannot be fixed by us. As I have said before there are trillions of them. If every Republican working adult in America would adopt 10,000 of these "refugees" every year for the next 100 years, there will still be billions of ignorant, uneducated, suffering people (refugees?) in the 'turd' world that do not have either running water, or electricity.

People that want open borders are INSANE!

BTW... There have been millions of "endangered" species eliminated from the earth in the past eons. How did the earth survive without dinosaurs, mammoths, or cave lions? Unfortunately there are species that are going to be extinct and there isn't a damn thing Americans can do about it.
