    Who will it be?

Watched Chuckie have a panic attack on the Senate floor on tonight's new Associate Supreme Court Judge, man was he burned. Manchin wants to retain his seat so I have serious doubts if Manchin will oppose the President on this. The NRA is big across the river and no support for Manchin.

Trump could nominate John The Baptist, St Peter or even Jesus
and the libs would find them all objectionable for one reason or another.

Now that the President has made his decision the consternation will really start on the NSDWP side to hold the line. The good Senator from West Virginia is in a dilemma on his re-election as he is facing an uphill battle. During the last election he touted his pro-gun stance and got the backing of the NRA. This time around no deal for him in this regard. West Virginia, thanks to Clinton's comments on coal and Obama's actions, this state has gone solidly to the Republican side of the coin. President Trump is very popular in the state and has visited the region several times. IMHO if the good Senator Manchin follow's Chuckie, Manchin might not get re-elected and Manchin want's desperately to keep his job. If I was in his shoes, it might not be a bad idea to switch boats to keep his job. If President Trump comes back to Charleston touting that Manchin is hurting West Virginia and the coal industry this could sink Manchin, on the other hand if Manchin gets on board with the President on this it could help him at home, only time will tell what Chuckie will threaten Manchin with.

          Let's face it,....

          TRUMP BLEW IT!!!!

He should have nominated a constitutional expertand former president obummer.

          WHY??

All his sequestered papers writings, etc, would have to be released and those senators ID'd with a "D", would really have to think
what their legacy will be and re-election factors will be DIMINISHED.

What a great set-up to have him VOTED DOWN, whit the exception of mccaint and the self-ID indian princess voting for him.

Darn him, he could have nailed the democRATS for a CENTURY!

It has been interesting to watch ALL of the Democrats literally explode with what is happening and all "they" can do is watch and froth at the mouth!

They really shouldnt be freaking out...this guy is the more palatable choice for both sides. 2nd Amd stays intact (for now.)

For a middle of the road voter, this media coverage has been quite melodramatic since the election. This is no different.

Has anyone seen gloria allred? I'm sure she will pop up with some unprovable sexual harassment story from 30 years ago.

Trump picked a guy who has a pretty expansive view of an Imperial Presidency. Rule #1 for Trump: take care of Trump.

She has the victim already primed to make the accusation. She was only waiting for the President to announce the guy's name, so she'd know who to blame.

Isn't she Ruth Ginsburg's sister and Maxine Waters half sister?

Pish, Red, no heils necessary. We're all just folks here.

Hey, did you check out this piece?

                          https://www.politico.com/magazine/st...n-chait-218966

                          Interesting quote from it:

Finally, whatever one thinks of Chait’s piece, the attacks from Trump defenders are no more than a reflex that reveals the exhausting double-standard that pro-Trump Republicans must now carry like a cinder block around their necks. People who once wanted to imprison Hillary Clinton for a uranium deal approved by the U.S. government are now waving away 30 years of Moscow’s personal and financial investments in Trump as though it’s nothing more than a condo purchase on an overdrawn checking account.
