Indicting someone who you know you will never get into court means NOTHING. in fact a Russian indicted in the last round of Muller indictments demanded to go to trial, the government asked for a continuance and the judge denied it.....ooops. Indict somebody you can actually get into a courtroom and I'll be interested. Not a word has been heard about this since May. The Muller team didn't anticipate this, especially since it would mean the Gub'mint having to provide "Brady" material to the defendandts…...ooooops.

I think the question was rhetorical. We all know Trump doesn't object to the hacking, and by some reading of the dates actually requested it.

So Trump had 12 Russians working to elect him, while Hillary had ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSN, PBS, working to elect her. Which of the two would you say had the deck stacked against them?

If those 12 really had anything measurable to do with saving us from Hillary (I doubt it), each deserves the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Well, I approve of any steps taken by anyone in Russia or elsewhere to even the playing field, while you approve of the stacked deck. Of the thousands of reporters, anchors, all other assorted talking heads employed by the major news outlets that I watch daily, excepting only Fox, there isn't O-N-E who isn't manifestly not merely a Dem, but, personally, a committed Dem activist, few of whom even pretend to hide their scorn & contempt of Trump. The "Opposition Party" is EXACTLY the right description of them, & without their passionate support & connivance, the Dems wouldn't be a force to reckon with.

Let them bring these guys to trial and convict them. That'll prove this isn't just political posturing.

CH, what playing field? GOP doesn't have enough money to run a national campaign so they have to call on the operatives of a foreign state?

Vern.... it isn't about convicting them.... hell, Trump will just pardon them anyway... right ? Nor is it necessaily political posturing....

It's about making Americans aware of a foriegn state's attempts to infiltrate us for thier own benefit .... and it's about warning us of those amongst us who would be OK with this .... and why.

The "playing field" does not consist of political ads--even the dumbest of the dumb are capable of recognizing them for what they are, & discounting them. The "playing field" consists of the sum total of everyday general news reporting--the day in & day out, tireless, unremitting, belittling (or more often, outright excoriation) by the national media of EVERY viewpoint, event, action, that could be considered as reflecting a conservative viewpoint. THIS is the uphill battle any conservative candidate for any office must face.

I'm not buying it. Invite the Russians into our elections because you don't like what's on TV, when all you had to do was stick to Fox to feel good. Your explanation doesn't hold water.

If everybody in the country watched ONLY Fox, I would feel good; they don't, & Fox has nothing that compares with the evening news programs of the other networks & PBS, & nothing that comes close to the 24-hr. coverage of CNN; so as usual, you don't know what you're talking about.
