Rosenstein came to Trump and said "we have these indictments, should we hold off?" Trump said "no, announce before". As I said, leverage which he proceeded to not use , and worse. And then he spends 2 hours alone with Putin leading to the second debacle, this after-the-fact debate on what was actually discussed. Trump is as image conscious as anyone. That he turns obsequious in front of Putin is a huge tell. That every personal rule he has for operating on the world stage gets flipped for one guy only, it's a flag. Actually I predicted it, then saw the leak. It's obvious after even a cursory glance at the indictments, as a way to increase leverage. But President Kompromat doesn't play hardball with Ivan. They have him. Through some combination of goods and 30 years of buttering him up. It's the only thing that explains the glaring double standard. America first, except for Russia, then Russia first.
