No good deed goes unpunished ...

They figured they were not welcome here so they journeyed
upwards toward Canada, which generously allowed them in.
Whether the ensuing violence is due to that is unknown, but
with the gunman's name being what it is, Faisal Hussein,
it at the least deserves some thought.

As residents grapple with the latest attack to hit the city in recent months, some are asking whether it was becoming less safe

Liberals keep doing the same thing over and over -- and expecting different results.

According to today's news reports, ISIL has claimed responsibility for the attack

In addition, however, and predictably, the Mayor of Toronto has demanded that the federal government ban all handguns. Just as predictably, the Federal Minister responsible for this areas has said that he would consider the request. This is so absolutely typical of our Liberal government. They want to be seen to be doing something, anything just as long as they can tell the voters that they have responded. It doesn't matter if it is ineffective; it doesn't matter if it punishes the innocent. All that matters is that appear to be responding. The last time they responded to a mass shooting, they introduced a registry for all long guns in the country. The registry cost about $1.5B and was later condemned by Parliament's Auditor General who stated that it could not be shown to have saved even one life (I keep thinking about how many lives could have been saved if the money had been used for high end medical diagnostic equipment). In the end, the next Conservative Government scrapped the Registry. But here we go again with an action that will not keep the guns out of the hands of gangs or terrorists - but they can say they responded!!

When you ban guns, there's always the knife.
Dead Londoners would attest to that, if they could.

When you ban guns, you ban the GOOD GUY'S guns. The bad guys still have them, and can use them with less risk to themselves.

As the man said, if Democrats would stop murdering people, the homicide rate would fall by 90%.

                Screw isil.

-According to today's news reports, ISIL has claimed responsibility for the attack-
They claim responsibility for all the evil. "That was us". "We did that".
If a meteor hit the U.S. isis would claim responsibility. Loonies.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.
