Are you now questioning their honesty? When Christ was asked about paying taxes, Christ replied "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and that which is God's unto God's." I have often found that those who are dishonest question other's honesty. I pay in coin of the realm, not a promise to take to a bank. Why should I entrust other's to hold that which I can hold and guard for myself?

Sam, just remember that God accepts a man's word as his bond. Caesar want's his share in writing. All fine and dandy until the IRS gets involved. They make no provisions in law for Scripture.

Well along those lines ...... I once mentioned here that the local banks will no longer accept checks made out to cash ..... just to point out the new "less regulations" we now live under.

was imediately bashed for being a tax evader... Red still mentions it . Pretty funny coming from a group that thought it cool when Trump said paying less tax made him smart.....

I have no problem paying taxes for work done or to avoid paying taxes if done under the color of law. I do have a problem with illegal tax evasion though. Heard this years ago, take it for what it is worth. There is a 20 year class reunion with people telling what they are now doing in their life. A former class big shot [parents had money] was now bragging how he ran the family business paying little taxes. There was one guy there who the big shot use to pick on in class and made the little guy's life miserable. Still up to his old habits he asked what the guy did now. The man said that he worked for the government and the big shot laid into him. How he would never amount to much being a file clerk and a civil servant. The guy said that he wasn't a file clerk and show his credentials...IRS criminal investigator and handed the big shot his card stating that the big shot was to appear Monday morning in the IRS office in town with the financial records.
